This is a very unique application to me, its all incredibly insane but actually sounds attainable for a HUMAN. I’ve seen so many absolutely insane applications but yours gives me hope on getting into a good college.
Hey girl!! First Off congrats on all your accomplishments and best of luck to you at Harvard!! I have taken note of some things you mentioned that I should have in my application when I apply. I am homeschooled so I am limited in the things I can do. I'm graduating 2 years earlier than my peers because I am really ahead of my classes so I only have a year and a half to build my application!! Columbia or Harvard are the big stars I'm reaching for and I will definitely need these tips!!

Hi Gowri, I'm aspiring to get into Neuroscience for USC, Stanford, UPenn, Columbia, and UCLA. My essay so far is talking about how my job at Albertsons has helped me overcome the obstacles of my Asperger's Syndrome diagnosis. I received numerous awards and recognitions (both throughout highschool and so far in college), but I don't know how to tie everything in. Also, I did Choir Tours in Spain and competed, but again I am not sure what I should put being that there is only 650 words? Do you have a recommendation to put extracurriculars or additional activities? Thank you 😃

wait so did you list just 6 EC's? I'm asking because i want to submit 8 instead of 10, theyre the ones most meaningful to me but a lot of people suggest me to go for the conventional 10 ec's.
Yes, I just submitted those ec's. My advice is to submit the ec's that mean the most to you because that'll also have a greater impact on the admissions officer reviewing your app.
Hello, l am in the 8th grade.We have 11 classes. There are no problems with GPA.I need to take the IELTS exam now and get an 8 or higher score.l'm already speaking without an emphasis on English, but I can't just answer more complex questions right away, l'm still not fluent. And since the pronunciation of the speech is like yours, I am now at the Pre-Inter level. In addition, if I pass IELTS for 8, then I will know 4 languages.Of course, I don't have a certificate for the other 3.But I know them completely.Things are going very well with mathematics. After IELTS, I will study for the SAT. And also, this month I will already go to drawing courses with a good teacher, but l've drawn before, but it wasn't that professional.And by the way we don't have AP program but we have A-level program. So give me some advice, pls..What can I do more to increase the chances?! feel hopeless and that I won't have enoygh time to do everything.
@@itscrafttimeroadto200subs2 i beleive you will need more activities 100%. Almost everyone applying to top school will already have good stats, extracuriculars is how you stand out amoungst other applicants.
yes! i submitted the scores that were 3 and above, but i’m not sure if it made a big impact on my overall application. harvard doesn’t take AP scores for credit too 🥹
@@oooceanman it means that you should have a good reason not to do extracurriculars or else colleges will see it as you being lazy/not wanting to do anything regarding your passions/values/etc.
