How I got started in the roll off dumpster business 

I'm in the printing and sign business. About 15 years ago in walks a guy wanting some invoices for his new Roll-Off dumpster business. And he casually asked me if I knew anyone that had any dumpsters they wanted to sell. Well, just so happens, my father in law had bought 6 at an auction about 4 months before and a couple weeks back had told me he was gonna sell them. He had used them in some project that was over with. This customer bought all of them. They're still in business and rather large with a fleet of trucks. I still do all their printing and lettering and decals for their trucks and dumpsters.

Scrap metal , yard debris, household trash, we haul all types of stuff in my dumpsters

Nice video i'm starting up my dumpster business now in north Carolina, i just bought a roll off trailer for now purchased a new maxx d rpx 16 ft 21 k with 2 16 yard bins. for now i will eventualy upgrade i i fill i need to but the residental construction is booming here

Can you talk about what trucks you started with and what you ended up with and what you might recommend for someone starting when trying to figure out what truck to get based on bang for buck or how many miles are acceptable or what kind of maintenance is required? Thanks so much!

Dumpsters will keep you busy all year long

Just suggesting but maybe get a cab over they have tighter steering radius and can get into the tight spots even though the suspension is a lot rougher

Honestly I don't understand how theirs much money in dumpster rental.. it costs so much to dump and for fuel.
