Dude I stumbled across your channel a few weeks back and I just have to say that we are so similar. I started my e-commerce journey in 2017 selling on ebay. A Gideon planeswalker card was my first ever sale. I got into thrifting and yard sales but it wasn't sustainable. Tried retail arbitrage, too much wasted gas and time. Tried dropshipping but hated everything about it. I'm now into selling Trading cards out of my house on ebay now and am up to $2500 in sales for a month and a half! Good Shit bro
I'm signing a lease for a card store on Monday. I just discovered this channel and it's incredible motivational. I'm really nervous and you've been incredibly helpful. Thanks so much. Like you my job pays my bills so it's more a side hustle.
This channel is as real as it gets. In same spot not enjoying what I do and trading cards has always been a passion. Quality control, sorting, providing excellent service, and its addicting
the law of large numbers is the concept that the larger a sample size the closer to average results will be. the law of large numbers is only working in your favor if the actual calculated estimated value is profitable. if the estimated value is low the law of large numbers will only hurt you.
Loved this video. Just started my own online and popup shop this year doing pokemon and a few other tcgs. Hope to get where you are one day not too far away
I will take the shot but I'll wait for the time to be ready. I took a small step in getting my own apartment for the company, which is considerably cheaper down here than commercial realestate that starts at like 5k/mo. Only problem is now you need a brick and mortar for distributors so I'm kinda screwed on that end, but at least I can still buy and sell bulk and singles, graded cards etc.
thanks for the insight, i 'll send that to a friend, who dreams to open a geek shop I'm already selling magic the gathering stuff, started casually, and now it grows, becoming kind of full time, earnings not sufficient but better than nothing (especially with unemployment, increase of everything, for just life expense, it's hard) i get that too, now a regular job would be really great, guaranteed pay, clock out and stress free in the free time, real days off and free time, not paying to work (as in buy/sell, we have to buy a lot first, no guarantee to sell, when, at what price, it's stressfull, with not much savings) But still, there are nice part too, doing what i love, learning a lot, earning a few for now but it grows quite significantly, free cards paid by sales, lots of stuff i couldn't discover otherwise
that´s very hard way of reinvesting. Just like a stock trader. But i guess + some extra the hour´s/hustle. Very nice channel, very cool progress!!! Like your content. Greetings from germany.
GOOD LORD, I bought a TON of those wax cubes as well all on Walmart clearance. I swear I still get whiffs of them in areas in our inventory storage to this day. Yuck!
how do you find companies that are under liquidation? EDIT: bro. that "i did it" was just a sigh of relief to me. i liked hearing that. this is the first video of yours that i saw and it's just so good. i wish you all the best. keep making people happy with the games that you sell. you deserve all your success.
Very inspirational. Im thinking of doing the same. I may have the backing to start it as well as 3 family members to help run it. I have 3 competetors near me though, but am friends with 2 of them. I would love to chat about the unforseen shit that hasnt crossed my mind yet if you interect with viewers at all.
Found your channel, and i have to say it's fascinating. My question to you is, do you think say a pokemon only shop would be sustainable? The lgs in my area all seem to have their niche, some are more geared toward say magic, or other things entirely like comics....
I'm slowly saving up for my goal of opening a shop. I have just over 10k. A ways to go still, but your videos have been inspiring and a great help. Have you noticed since we are past that covid boom, if getting distribution and inventory is still tough? Also, If we have more specific store questions should we ask here or in the discord? I saw a general questions tab in the discord but wanted to make sure. Thanks!
It is getting a bit easier (everything but Pokémon) you can message me on discord I like to leave my discord for my customers in store. I will try to get back to you as soon as I can
been watching a few of your videos and really good information. u mentioned u sold playsets, how did u go about doing that? single card playsets or in a lot? just the commons and uncommons? assuming on ebay?
Dude I have a legit business with relationships with banks, credit, etc. but I just can’t get any distributors for TCG because I don’t have a B&M store. Do you have any ideas?
my budget is for now about 80 euros and thats it💀, thankfully i found a ps1 in my grandma's closet and i have a wii mini under my couch and a old xbox which i will try to make work and sell the one that im playing on rn. Plus i don't play on the ps 4 (we just use it for netflix) so ima download the games and sell them and put the money to my budget. Plus i got some xbox games i wont play for sale aswell. (Sorry for bad grammar im a croat)
Your numbers don't add up on the cell phone cases. If you bought them for 8 cents a piece and they sold for 19.99 and your initial investment was roughly 180 bucks, you should have been sitting on like 45,000....so my question is...how much does Amazon take? Even if they take 50%, you should've had like 20K.
Bro this entire video is about how you started selling shit on Amazon.. What? How did you even grow your game store??? You didnt even say anything after you said "I decided to lease a game store" with all the money you made from drop shipping and liquidations...
@@rng-gamez At least I dont like my own comments..lol...Dude my channel sucks lol. I'm legit like wtf, though. Is the title click bait? I'm not saying its a bad video, just misleading. You didn't mention anything about your store my man lol.
You have no idea how much I enjoyed this video. You hit me right in the feels. I'm looking to start my own Poke Business. I'm about to pull the trigger on it. But I'd like to ask you some questions can I hit your DM on IG or do you have some other way I can contact you? You IG link isn't working.
