Thank you for posting I am dealing with the same issue. The additional information definitely does help.... You hit a lot of valid points.. This is my second bout of prostatitis I had about 10 years ago as well...

Ah I see. What helped you move through it 10 years ago?

@@fitalfa well I went through a barrage of tests from my urologist they determined that it was a non-bacterial prostatitis. They still put me on 500 mg of Cipro twice a day for 30 days. Because that's just the standard procedure even if it's non-bacterial.. I was very fortunate that it only lasted for about 3 months..At that time even though it's only been to 9 or 10 years a lot less was known about it. So there was a lot less information out there. However I exercised tried to eat clean and added anti-inflammatory foods into my diet as well..

I'd like to learn more about engaging social activities. I'm M32 and been a party person for a long time. since CPPS (7months ago) I've slowed down on the booze (even 10 days sober) and cut off drugs because the next day the flare up was mad but I am lacking the confidence that I have when tipsy/drunk. I've told my closest friends about CPPS but they don't really understand what I'm going through and basically tell me to "man up". You said a couple of times to live your life normally with friends and family but I'm struggling although I'm making small progress. How do you deal with it? Many thanks for your videos

How can I know if its my prostate or muscle issue? Been dealing with pelvic pain, urinary urgency and penile pain for the last 19 months! There are times it goes away (when Im chilling or relaxed) then it comes back. It sucks !
@fitalfa
@fitalfa 20 дней назад
Muscle tension can impact your prostate as well. Run the tests & consult with PT’s to rule out your situation & triggers. It’s going to be different for everyone

Do you have opinion on resistance streching for cpps?
@fitalfa
@fitalfa 10 дней назад
It can work better than static stretching & if it’s targeted movement to address myofascial restrictions (tension, tightness, trigger points) then it can alleviate a looooooot of stress, anxiety & pain. It’s what I’ve been using for myself & clients.

No matter how many pelvic floor streches i do and no matter how much belly breathing i do my pelvic floor symptoms are not getting better after 4 years. I still have ED flaccid penis retracting and pudendal neuralgia. What steps can I take to get my pelvic floor to heal once and for all.
@fitalfa
@fitalfa 19 дней назад
I can’t give you a magic pill based on that little info. I’m wondering if you’re able to complete step one first, which regulating your nervous system? As I mentioned in the video, if you can’t do that then your brain-body will feel in constant danger Stretching doesn’t help & I did not mention it in any of the steps for that reason

My view is Go to a (gonstead chiropractic) specifically Pelvic floor therapist) does hands on manually. stop faping Slowly work on your waist and below strenthin them exercise Test infection) semen urine and prostate fluid test Less anxity,stress,and negatively is one of the main ones you gotta work on it don't fell like this is forever cuz it's not

Is protatis different from cpps?
@Moonless6491
@Moonless6491 20 дней назад
There are many names for the same condition of symptoms. As long as there is no prostate infection, then yes, it is the same thing.
@fitalfa
@fitalfa 20 дней назад
CPPS is technically type 3 non bacterial prostatitis. It’s the absence of evidence for an infection. I’d add that many conventional tests miss a lot of low grade infections & fungal infections, sperm culture & gut health tests can be a great aid

@@fitalfaI’ve been dealing with this for 6 years. And it all started after issues with my gut. Both issues are still chronic and I’ve thought all this time that they’re related. How would you say gut tests provide prostatitis related info?

You did a whole video interview with a guy named Dan from "Pain Free You," who said that everything you're saying here is incorrect, inaccurate, and that it's all TMS. Why did you change your mind? Why do you still believe this treatment method is good and not just working on your fear?
@fitalfa
@fitalfa 19 дней назад
Dan is entitled to his opinion & we agree on most things. I started by discussing the nervous system regulation before anything else & emphasize that if you don’t learn to regulate, making the other changes may not help. I’ve worked with a lot of people who felt better after seeing a pelvic pt, after healing their gut from real toxins & from addressing serious postural imbalances. It’s different for everyone at the end of the day so this is a general video to cover all of your bases. Hope things have been going well with you Tom
@scottmcewan
@scottmcewan 19 дней назад
Don’t think you’re being fair here. The vast majority of what Zaid is saying here is not going against TMS treatment anyway. Should you not eat a healthy diet? Instead eat a load of junk food because there’s nothing wrong with you? Should you not spend time with friends because there’s nothing wrong with you? Plus it would be flat out bizarre if you didn’t do medical tests at the start of this to rule that out first, before going down the TMS route. Essentially Zaid is saying eat healthy, hang out with friends, practise relaxation, clean up your diet and rule out a medical problem. Seems like good advice to me
