(i.e The D400’s forks, triple trees, caliper, axle, and SFK cone kit and bearings) requires far lesser fabrications and compromises plus better performance cause the D400’s and C650’s weight and handling characters are in such close proximity.

Hats off to your effort. I’am going to do usd conversion with Dominar 400 parts. I just need to figure out a way to keep ABS working. The parts alone it will cost around 40k including upper lower T, T stem, USD forks, axles, alloys, discs with caliper, abs sensor etc.

hefty amount of work.. I guess fork oil need to be changed. those are tuned for different weight category .. as conti gt is a much more heavier bike. another thing.... so much of black ... its not soothing .... lastly I would have done golden powder coating on the forks. with that mister clean version. easy choice.. anyway keep up the good work. but it does not cost engineering faultiness in your favorite machine. I have seen this kind of change makes a bike unrideable in long run..

congrats for the change, but I have some concerns regarding front USD's. bmw gs310 has a kerb weight of 158kg approx. and GT has 202 Kg their is a huge weight difference. I think suspension are designed w.r.t the weight and also many other factors so does it effect handling and rideability of the bike?

Tvs ronin has 41mm usd forks, cant they be a perfect swap?? If not can someone explain why?

You can use Diablo Full exhaust system, it will help you save weight and give your build growling sound. This exhaust system has curved pipes, no bends. You can search them on RU-vid yourself. And you can check them out from kspeed.net

hi i am planning to buy a gt 650 soon can i buy the super metor 650 usd's and retro fit them cause i cannot bear to see a spark fall or weld a hole inti my bike i want the parts to fit as smooth as possible i own a rr310 too but i may move to the states soon so want to buy a enfield my dad want he loved the gt shape so i want it to be customised into bmw rninet kinda sport scrambler so i dont want to mess a decent usd forks , 17 inch alloys front and back , best possible tyre size 110 at front 150 at the rear would do good i want them with minimal alternantions required ive seen scram 650 spyshots for hours and it is mostly similar to sm650 usd fork and clamp set up can you please once check out the measurements from sm650 and guide me if i can buy that usd forks and clamps from sm650 for gt650;

Finally something for me to replicate. Also I think rounded exhaust bend pipes like from diablo will do better justice to the look you are going for...

Just check the 2 in 1 exhaust from SS MotoCorp in India. They are even working on 2 in 2 Diablo style exhaust for 650 twins.

Now it will be so much easier putting super meteor usd to gt 650 i feel like.

it be nice for once in 3weeks there is content. after parts are sourced and ready to be installed. and then add the better idea as the next upgrade, so you have content for before and after other than OEM... eg; OEM-> 1st upgrade-> 2nd upgrade ... you can add your view on how it is Vs OEM setup...
