But if you don’t put water on the hair before the oil, the oil will just block out other moistures. If your hair is moisturizer or damp it will seal-in the moisture. If you apply it on dry hair it will just trap the very little moisture in (which is what you want) but will also block other moisture from coming in. So technically if u apply it on dry hair it will just keep it dry but appear moist from the shine of the oil and anti-frizz factor.

how do you keep your edges straight when you shower?

I always brush my edges down with a very stiff bristle brush then wrap it with a silk scarf if my edges get wet with the scarf on it I just leave the scarf on overnight and when I wake up my edges are still straight. I hope it helps 😊

I wrap my hair up for the night and when I put on my shower cap, I take another long scarf and tight it tightly just around the perimeter to try and stop any moisture from seeking in. When my hair is straight, I don’t wash my face in the shower, like I have to be extra careful and wash my face at the sink so I have more control over where the water falls

Don’t unwrap your hair until after you shower. I use this for workouts too. If your hair is wrapped while you sweat or are in contact with steam, as long as you keep your scarf on, it will stay straight.

I'm relaxed my natural state is also 3B I got it relaxed because of those reasons they could never stress they straight even after two days of getting it straightened by my mom or am I said 2 days it would just convert back so 2003 that's when I got a relaxer and that's summer of 2003 and been relaxed every sense. And this works just fine for me I relaxed every 18 weeks🙏
