losing weight is not easy you guys it takes a lot of work, dedication and especially if you have eating disorders. looking back 6 months ago I was 264lbs but now I’m 163lbs. It was pure sacrifice, so I’m here to encourage anyone trying to lose weight not to give up 🔥🔥🔥

This video made me cry like a baby. I struggle with so much of that negative self talk. I recently found your channel and I have been bingeing your videos! I signed up for the WW app and I logged my first meal today. I went grocery shopping and I used the tips you gave in some of your other videos. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you Nikki! 💜

Positive self talk is so hard for me. I tried to look my reflection in the eye and say "I am beautiful" and the words died in my throat, then I cried because I couldnt get the words out. It felt like a cruel joke and a lie. I didn't realize how deeply my self hatred was hurting me. I will continue to work on this, thank you for touching on the importance of positive self talk ❤

I just found your videos and you continue to inspire me every day. I am not a young person and at 74 I have been up and down the weight journey. I have physical problems that keep me from exercising other than walking. I joined WW back when it was the Points Plus plan and lost 40 pounds. I felt so much better. Then I broke my back and ended up having both knees replaced. I am pretty down on myself. I am putting my big girl panties on and giving WW another whirl. Thanks Nikki❤

Such great advice! I’ve been on WW for a year and have lost about 45 pounds. Granted I’m old so the weight comes off slow!! I’ve just “found” your channel and love all the new food ideas ! Thank you for the renewed inspiration!!!!

Nikki..I stumbled on your video this morning and watched it start to finished. The most important thing I am taking away from it, among many, is I need to step away from the scale for a bit. I’ve increased my activity, stayed within points, am eating much healthier…but have been sooooo frustrated at the snails’s pace that the scale is moving. For a couple weeks I’m going to focus on my positive changes and not what the scale is not showing. You taught this ole grandma a great deal today. THANKS!

Yes i keep bell peppers or zucchini , chopped in my fridge aswell. And have peas and cucumber and cherry tomatoes always or bananas/ berries/ grapes so you'll always have a fruit alternative for sweet cravings...

I could relate to so much of what you talked about today. I've only been on WW since the 29th of Dec 23 and I've already lost 5 pounds. One of my weaknesses was Panda Express Sweet Fire Chicken. I have been able to make up a copycat using a sauce I found at Trader Joe and I just cook the chicken in the air fryer after seasoning it and then make veggies using spray olive oil and combining everything adding in pineapple and then using 4 Tablespoons of the sweet Tai chili sauce. It was even better than Panda and it's only 4 pts instead of 12. No more cravings for me!!!! You have been such a HUGE part of my success so far and it has helped me to get in gear. I've meal prepped for the bowls and I love all of them. I've replaced high point items with the suggestions from your grocery hauls. I do not miss any food items because I had such great alternatives. It was a lot of work at first, getting started because I went "full on" but now it is getting easier and easier because I have what I need in my pantry, refrigerator and freezer to grab and I've made a rotation list of all of the foods that I make so that I make sure I have the ingredients handy. That is HUGE for me. Thank you for all of your work to bring us so much GREAT information. Providing points and suggestions for grocery items, food prep videos and what works for you has been a game changer for me.

I joined WW a couple months ago because of you. This week was my first week where I had a hard time staying on track for multiple days, but this video really got me excited to get back up and keep going so maybe in a year I can make a "how I lost 70 pounds in a year video".

Nikki, I cannot tell you how much I LOVE you!!! I started WW blue plan a couple of months ago and while I have lost weight I am now losing and gaining the same two pounds over and over. I can only get two actual meals in a day due to work so when I saw another of your videos (the 30 things you two eat the most) I was in heaven. So many different foods I can incorporate into my day so I'm not stuffing my face when I get home. A co-worker got me started on WW and she is also having a slight problem so this will be shared with her! I am following and I am a subscriber for as long as you are here!

Restricting, some people have to. For many of us, having a little sugar is like an addiction having a little alcohol or a little heroine. I can’t have a little cake and make my journey successful. And I also found allergies by giving up certain things for months at a time. I never would have realized my peanut and wheat allergies if I had not given them up and then had them again after months.

Nikki you have become my new guru! I want to sincerely thank you for sharing your story, as well as providing insanely helpful tips, meal and snack ideas, food recommendations, and more! I have been struggling to lose weight my entire life and I finally took the plunge to join WW. So sick of yo-yo dieting! I found your channel when I was looking up meal ideas. So far, I’ve pretty much been following everything you did and I lost 7 pounds my first week! I slipped my second week unfortunately, but I’m starting my third today hopeful. Already prepped my jasmine rice and sautéed veggies for the week lol. Your “WW must-haves” video, along with the ingredient prepping video, and creating healthy bowl meals are awesome! I even got my fiancé to eat these foods and he’s enjoying it.. plus we’re happy about the money savings! It’s funny because our stories are so similar. Congratulations on your success, it seems like you really discovered balance! I hope to get where you are by this time next year!

Hi Nikki, I really enjoyed this video and I'm actually a lifetime member of WW, but it's always great to have the support and reminders of what makes this program successful. One thing I would like to point out is when you start working out and you are weight training, muscle weighs more than fat so you can continue to shrink in size but the scale may show a gain. I really try to go by how I look and how my clothes fit rather than the scale... Even though I still continue to weigh-in weekly. Thank you for what you're doing, I really enjoy all your discussions and ideas. Congratulations on your 70 pound weight loss.😊

You have a lot of great reminders in here that I honestly needed to hear. I’ve lost 70 pounds so far but I have like 20ish more to go, and honestly people aren’t kidding when they say that last little bit is the hardest. I think I’ve gotten a bit off course with my mindset, you sharing your mindset here has been helpful to me. Today at the store I’m gonna buy some of the healthy snacks you’ve recommended in other videos and try those out, lately I’ve been way too harsh on myself.

Such great tips and a reminder about meat and how you don't eat the whole pound. Years ago when my husband and I were counting points and measuring portions this was a big eye opener for me. My husband and I would eat a pound of ground beef in the past, but we know now to split it in 4 portions making it in 4 meals. It's a win/win situation of having some meals prepped ahead of time whether I use it for meat sauce or tacos or even on top of a salad. I use any meat this way as long as it's portioned out. Great video and our journeys are very similar. I started when I was 28, lost 60 by age 30. I am 53 now and proud to say WW works. I kept all of it off except for 8-10 pounds over the years.... I will not blame it on Menopause because I know when I overeat or not exercise or do not drink my water, some of the pounds creep back. As soon as I get back on track, poof! The weight comes off. Keep these videos coming. You're an inspiration.

I think you are amaze balls 💕. This video is so candid and honest and you hit on SO much ‘truth’ in this whole process. I appreciate you and think it’s wonderful that you’re sharing your journey with others. You hit on ALL the important points: negative self talk, consistency, not telling anyone at the start…It sounded like you were in my head! You just inspired me to get back on track. I joined WW about a month ago- was doing ok- lost 5 lbs. - but they changed the plan this week, had emotional, stressful things happen this week and just gave up. Ate a lot of sweets this weekend - that’s my emotional eating food I always go to. Thanksgiving is this week blah, blah, blah- and I’ve just been feeling like why even try anymore. But your video made me want to start fresh tomorrow and drink water which I haven’t been doing. Thanks for the inspiration. Your food videos always look yummy.

Finding your channel made me join WW. We have basically the same points! I get 23 a day (i'm 5'2 with 50 pounds to lose) and i've lost 7.5 pounds so far, with a few bad days. In the past its always had to be keto to see any real weight loss. I find myself recreating your meals and loving them so much. Bbq chicken pizzas with red onion slivers and rays sugar free bbq is a new total favorite with a 4 point serving of 2 ingredient dough. I honestly prefer it to dominos at this point. So thank you so much for sharing your journey and inspiring others.

I lost 60 lbs on WW over 10 years ago.. Im old 😞... But i still use the tools and knowledge about food that i learned from WW today. THANK YOU for your honest and good advice and bigger thank you for not trying to sell me Built Bars lol.

Sometimes I would backslide a little on WW. Plateau or just burnout for a couple weeks. But I never quit. I'm lifetime now and it's still a struggle sometimes. If the determination is there, this program absolutley works.

I just bought the bolthouse honey BBQ ranch, and it has changed my chicken nugget life. I buy the Tyson air fryer nuggets, so good! I had that for dinner every day for the last week. I just want it. So I'm having it.

I just wanted to say thank you for doing this video...I had joined WW twice in my life and went to a meeting both times...I asked for help in explaining how the program worked, and I got NO HELP from the staff whatsoever. They did not take any time to talk to me about the program, and how it worked, so I quit, and was extremely disappointed that I had wasted my time and money. I am not Tech savvy at all, and fear not knowing how to do this with tracking points would be the same thing all over again with no help or time to spend explaining this to me. I am on disability so I don't make much money, and don't even know if I can afford this never mind buying the foods I need to eat better. I have a lot of Health issues like Type 2 Diabetes, Heart Attack at 49, three stents in my heart, 5 stents in my left leg, and 2 in my right leg. I just had a blood clot in my left leg a few months ago which caused me a 8 day stay in the Hospital. I have Peripheral Artery Disease, and my left foot is completely numb which hurts me everyday and worse at night. I have a hard time walking because of this, and it makes my ankles swell up big time, so the exercise I used to enjoy I can no longer do sadly. Just went to my new Doctor, and he says I am obese, but not morbidly obese. I weigh 175 lbs., and would love to weigh around 130ish... I am tired all the time (sleep apnea), and have no energy or ambition to do anything lately. I want to eat better, find something I can do to move, but I have money issues when it comes to this. You look fantastic, and I congratulate you for your super success with this! I pray someday I can do this, and feel better. Thank you for this video because it's opened my eyes a lot!

I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this in the 3 months I’ve been watching you. You were the main reason for me joining ww. I remember that Saturday, turning on yt like I always do, and there you were. I hadn’t even looked up any weight loss things in so long so for you to be my 1st video on my recommended threw me off but for some reason I found myself clicking. I hadn’t seen the ww in the title just your thumbnail and remembered thinking, “that’s amazing”. I had the same misconception of ww for being for “older ladies”.... I joined ww that morning when I got to work and immediately started. If I had question I often went to your videos. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!

MAGGIEEE! 😍😍 Ok sorry had to say that; thanks for sharing this and I’m so happy that you’re doing this at your age. (Are you tired yet of people telling you how much harder it is to lose weight as you get older?) I’m 44 and wish I knew what you do now when I was that age. I’m 6’ too and need to lose so much weight (150-200lbs probably) but your videos have helped me so much that this 2nd or 3rd try at WW has clicked more than any other time.

Hi Nikki you truly are an inspiration and I love hearing your story,I too have learned a lot watching your videos you are so right about many different things. You should be so proud of yourself. I have been on ww for about 2 months or so and have lost 20lbs but the struggle is real some days great some not so good but I will keep on going even though I feel overwhelmed with the amount of weight I want to lose. So many ladies on RU-vid are so inspiring and I'm so glad we have this option. Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work.

Graduated last year and was on my lowest point, got rejected, pandemic etc. I had no choice but to do a gap year not knowing it will change my life for the better. I struggle with consistency but I've lost 5 kg so far and I'm not giving up :) it might take me a while but it's okay!

Thank you I lost 34 lbs got gall bladder out then realized I had plaque in heart arteries 4 stents later ..I have 32 lbs to go hit a plateau..I need to drink more water..practice consistentancy and reward myself..ex hair cut. Thank you for your inspiration. Hugs

Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. It is a tremendous help. I rejoined ww about 2 months ago and the weight is very slow coming off. I keep telling myself I did not gain all this weight overnight so it will take time for me to lose it but it is hard. You have given me some great ideas on what products to try which is a big help.
