Yeah nah, such a silly dumb mod on the ifs 100. Far better to go 33s and put the effort into longer travel suspension set-up. Piss that AHC off and go longer front shocks, and longer rear coils and shocks. You'll go further off road and it will be a much better ride on road than just hacking everything to fit 35s. Body lift just makes for a more top heavy vehicle, better to keep it low and wide with extra suspension travel.
Long travel would be a lot more effort than this! You're right about the body lift and the 33s though. If I ever go offroad this will be worse, not better.
disagree completely. The AHC is mint, and can readily handle the tires / trails / etc. Conventional suspension is a one trick pony, and sacrifices in multiple areas, to be good in one. AHC does it all. A 2" body lift will allow the 35" to fit cleanly and fully articulate without any sensor adjustments. Look to New Zealand for some nice inexpensive kits.
interesting, as I got the same. the pucks are great and clean, and the bolts are all 8.8 zinc coated. Seems fine to me, you wanted something different? @@landcruiserscotland
