How I made crispy soonte at home (no food colour)ಗೆಣಸಿನ ಸೊಂಟೆ | Sweet potato fries | Genasina soonte
Sweet potatoes can be used for different types of dishes like- tasty snacks and also curries. Here we show you how to prepare a crispy and spicy tea time snack by using sweet potatoes. We haven't used any artificial food colors, rather we used a natural source of food color. The sweet potatoes are cut into uniform sized pieces (finger shaped) and half fried at the beginning. Then coated with gram flour mixture and deep fried for second time. We also add salt, red chilly powder and sesame seeds to the gram flour batter. Goes well with evening tea or coffee or as a time pass snack too.
Ingredients:-
Sweet potato
Besan 3cups
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder
Seseme seeds 3to 4 sp
Natural food colour
Required water
Coconut oil for deep fry
