Good man. I'm so happy to see more young men practice self-care. I'm a child of the 80s and it was "gay" for a guy to do that when I was young. 🤦🏾♀️ Freaking head was ready to explode.
I’m Thinking About Braiding But I Don’t Know What Kind Of Style To Go With It’s Killing Me And Then Finding Someone Who’s Willing To Braid But In My Area No One Knows How To Braid
@@Bruh-gl2gm just learn how to do it yourself. I have 5-6 inches of hair (blown out) and I when I had at least 3 inches of hair all you need to do is section it out. Just look up a tutorial and it saves ALOT
@@thesharinganknight9859 Yeah Honestly The Best Thing To Be Able To Do I Started Practicing But Not There Yet I Can See Myself Braiding My Own Hair In About A Month Or 2 Appreciate You Replying Too🙏💯🗣
@@Bruh-gl2gm yep! i started braiding my own hair when i was 11 and it became 2nd nature to me. it takes a bit of practice, but it becomes a breeze once you get the hang of it. best of luck to you bro, you got this! 👏🏽
I was a dread Head for 3 years , den I got em cut off now ready for braids! ❤️❤️ I’m excited! Thank you legend !💙🙏🏿 , I hope my new journey be awesome!
I personally love the nappy frizz braid look. Cause it doesn’t necessarily mean you don’t take care of your hair cause it’s frizzy Them be the ones with the most new growth and for the most part implies you’ve had your braids in for a while. Some do it for growth some do it for style.
@@culture236 I started doing it for growth but the style has grown on me so much, so I enjoy the first 2 weeks of clean ass braids and also enjoy the other weeks of that frizzy nappy clear and apparent growth
just got braids for the first time.. or corn rows... tbh i dont even know what its called.. but i do know my hair is always freezy. so this helps. thanks.😊
I'm learning that maintaining braids/twists/locs is far easier than keeping waves. I'll take a quick ten minute moisture session over 45 minute brush sessions any day.
Good tips! I like to wash my scalp and then twist and set the front row (not too much tension) just to make the front row look a bit nicer. Scalp care is key with braids! (:
The thing I hate about braids bro, is when you have to redo them. That's why I prefer twisting my hair. Thanks for the vid broski, I will add this to my routine.
I recommend oil your scalp right after you've done. Use a oil/moisturizer that works best for you. For me personally thick oil dries up and causes my hair to flake and itch. I use lighter oils or lotions. Also ensure you have them wash your hair properly before starting the twist.
@@domosilv1365which light oils would you recommend using? I currently use castor and coconut but notice the castor oil makes my hair flake up and look dry
How often do you do this routine? Wanting to have an idea for when i get my hair braided. Been growing it out for a lil over a year and i think it’s time…
Lol it do be like that. My beard and body hair are Caucasian head hair black, and then all my face looks French except my lips 🤣 Genetics be random ass hell, none of my siblings even look like me
I hate cutting my hair whenever I cut them I regret it and now they gotten a lot and can’t wait to braid them. Last time I did I took it off after 3 days. Never cutting my hair again I wanna see how long they get
Just got some braids today and I don't think they fit my face shape very well. Do you think it's because I just got them and I should wait for them to relax a bit more??
