WOW... I am new to succulents. After watching your videos I need to repot my creation was more of a hot mess. I didn’t realize they get watered once a month and they need a fertilizer treatment. Thank you

Thanks I have a pentagon plant tub into the centre of which goes a parasol so this gave inspiration for a big bowl in there packed with succulents half buried in gravel the tub with a sort of river of little succulents, some larger ones dotted about with a few pebbles in there its almost like a mini desert rockery garden but it ended up looking really good. Im in the UK.

Part of the reason succulents are so popular is because of their ability to survive in many different types of climates. Not only do succulents survive in many types of climates, but they also survive in climates that are considered harsh environments to grow a plant.

Thank you SO MUCH for labeling the names of the plants in your video as you are talking about what you are doing! It really helps to get the names and spelling correct and being able to identify that plant that goes by that name! It really helps newbies like myself.

I JUST purchased this exact planter at HD. I bought it purely because I thought it was SO pretty. I've had my eye on it for a while. So, then I thought, "What should I put in it?" It looked like the perfect pot for a succulent arrangement. But I really don't have any experience with succulents (in fact, I don't have much of a green thumb at all). So, I came to RU-vid to see what I could learn. This was the first video to come up! With the same planter! Now I can't wait to fill it!

You make it look so easy. I love planting flowers. We get allot of people passing by saying how pretty our yard is. You either love planting or you hate it. I love the plant. It looks like a florist did it. You work Magic..I love your videos,they have taught me more than I imagined. Like the soils we buy. I'm going to try to plant a succulent in a pretty pot I have. It does have that drainage hole at the bottom.😊

WoW! Beautiful plants. I learned about using a big syringe to water after your finish in the end. I learned a brush exists to brush off the dirt. I just watered the plant and made even a bigger mess when the soil overflowed. Your pot is stunning! I didn't know you could plant succulents so close to each other like that. Thanks for a great video.

I like the way you have a front with height towards the rear. My problem is, I get plant tilt over time from the sun. I prefer something you can rotate to prevent tilt. I put height in the center, but equal rocks and plant sizes all around. I hate to dig up my stuff once established. 🍀🌿🌾🐀🐾

I have a succulent arrangement that's gone a bit crazy over the summer. I kept it watered, but with all the other summer activities happening, I didn't tend to it's grooming. I brought it inside for winter and hope to separate and rehome some of the plants. This video is perfect timing for inspiration. I got so excited when some of my succulents match some of yours, since I have no clue what the names are of the different plants, yet. Yay!

I love cactus and succulent arrangements!! But the Old Man Cactus will always be my favorite, I had one back when I was in Junior High School and so it just gives the warmest childhood memories, lol, something that's pokey and I relate to my childhood odd but so awesome. I have to say I was cringing watching you touch those cactus' without gloves, yikes I can't do that I have had them in my fingers way to many times they hurt and the smaller ones hurt the most and are so hard to get back out of your fingers, ouchy!!

Beautiful arrangement. The cactus looks to be a Trichocereus hybrid of some sort. Peruvianus or maybe Pachanoi, torch cactus (not too sure). Thanks for showing.

Great watering idea! I have an old toilet bowl cleaner bottle (the kind with the goose neck and small nozzle opening) that works very well for me as I can also put the nozzle down close and add water here and there without getting water all over. Oh, I do love that turquoise pot!! :)
