How I make cover art for my tracks aka Dave's Photoshop tips :) 

This video literally helped me get into a music company back about 10 months ago

I really liked the version before the mask, incidentally was fitting in the idea of “empathy gap” too :)

Thanks for this! I've been using stock images that relate to my title and applying filters but it always felt like cheating. This is a much more personal way to do it.

What’s the size of frame you use in photoshop?

What's your canvas size and dimensions?

Not really my style of cover art but still nice vid, I prefer a more cluttered, almost collage-like image

there is a free (but old) version of Photoshop

love the video, but a lot of what you are doing I have no idea how you did it. Assuming you're using hot keys and what not. Would be better if you were more detailed and showed everything you're doing.

Step one: Get a son.

I dont want to be negative but this is very simple and you arent putting much work in. You could maybe paint the images yourself or not just have colors and text. An album cover should capture the entire emotion of an album and not be so cold.
