writing this exam 18th Dec 2023. thanks for the suggestion. Edit this is 19th of December 2023. I successfully passed the exam thanks the advise i got from this video. I'm much grateful for the RU-vid channel he mentioned really helped on God. I did the online training but Mr. Prabh Nairs videos was gosh the best
I took and passed the practice test twice (92% & 88%) but did not fair as well on the actual exam. The questions on the actual exam were WAY different (more difficult) from the questions in the practice test to the point where it seemed like I went into it blind and hadn't studied at all. My recommendation is to most definitely find an additional source to study from before sitting for it because the study materials and test exercises from the ISC2 aren't sufficient IMO.

Well i used the training and one mike chaple on linkedin. I still failed miserably, the question were utterly different from what i expected/imagined. i realized that during my first 5 questions. I hope your resource helps. I will check Prabh out
Bro thx you so much for this video, it was exactly what I was looking for. I'm taking this exam on December 22th but I want to be prepared from now. After getting this certificate what could be the next step? I'm interested on pentesting
Amazing best of luck with your exam! As for your next step I’m perhaps not the best to advise on this as I’ve not entered the pentesting area of things 😄 good luck my friend 💪🏾🤩
Thanks for this info. I'd passed Sec+ years ago but decided to take this because it was free and a good refresher. On the pre-test I got a 92% as some of the terminology tripped me up. I've got a week to study for the exam but I'm feeling pretty good about it and I think the info you shared will help, thanks!
Great video. I'm coming out of 20+ years in trucking, transportation and logistics. While I'm not technologically illiterate, i have zero professional cyber, network, etc. experience. Someone recommended this free course as a starting point even before any of the Google, Microsoft, etc. courses on Coursera. Is this course entry level friendly??? Would this be a good initial foundational course to start with? Thanks
Amazing yes this is considered a beginner friendly program however it will take longer for beginners to complete as there won’t be as much familiarity! You can definitely take this and I know with work and effort you will pass 🤩🎉💯
Just heard about this certification. I've been studying for security+. I got a 75% in the pre-assessment. Since the training and exam is free, why not get certified? Thanks for your video!
You mentioned it being 1 of the 3 things to certify in cyber Security. CC is 1 what are the other 2 qualifications needed? thanks for your resources. really helpful.
I’m sure youve done your studying! But Like I said the questions on the training are easier! So look at prabh nairs questions and answers aswell to confirm! If you’re okay with his questions and explanation then you’ll be fine
Wow I'm just glad I came across your channel yesterday and now this video...this is very helpful because I'll be taking mine by next month hopefully and uhmm few people have said not to rely on just the ISC2 materials but to outsource more materials in order to pass the exam and with these tips you've laid out and my dedication I believe I'll make it through the exam.
I just passed the test. I did the practice self study in isc2 and thats about it. Most of my knowledge came from professional experience and it definitely adds to your knowledge base. If you are a new professional or fresh into the industry or yet to be, I would say study more than the isc2 training and more practice tests.
despite getting 84% in domain 1 it says “didn’t reach required level for completion” any idea why? I’ve gone back through the analytics but i don’t know how to improve my score on domain 1 now
Thanks for this advice, I'm doing my exam in two days. My background is in marketing and social media. Looking forward to passing this exam, I'll be back to update you😊
3:41 The UI which you are getting like the CC course listed in my courses tab. I am not getting it In my dashboard there's nothing present? Could you help me? But my CC course is showing up in ISC2 My courses tab
You have to enroll to be a member first. After that login in to your account and go to benefit center and you will find your voucher for onetime free proctored exam.
Hi Caleb, I just registered for the ISC2 CC program, however, i will be glad if you can share resources that will help me to gather on the job experience because i have come to realized that learning is best matched when you practice what you learn. Could you please share various bootcamps or companies where one can get on the job training experience as a cyber security analyst?
Great video. I do have one question. In the beginning you show your congratulations letter but it say you've completed the first of 3 steps (first being passing the exam). What were the other 2 steps you had to complete? Appreciate your help and time.
ok, i decided to do some comment scrolling. I saw someone else asked the same question. step 2 pay $50 and step 3 get a referral ( what does this mean exactly?)
Hmmm I don’t think they gave me a score either now that you mention it! 🤔 I don’t think they give you the score, I guess it doesn’t matter much now anyway 🤩💯 congratulations on passing my friend heart💛🔥
Hi Caleb! I registered for the exam with a free voucher. My exam is in a month and i am a newbie in cybersecurity space. i don't know if there is actually a free material for the course cos i have been trying to navigate through the website to get it dso i can study. Must i be a member to access the free study material on their website? if not can you help me with the link? my bad or how do i get the material please?
Hi, did you manage to get onto the online course in the end? I assume you set up a profile on the ISC2 website to be able to go through to sign up for the exam? I completed the course a couple of weeks ago so might be able to help if you're struggling still?
i am still struggling bro. i honestly need help in getting the needed materials to pass the exam. if you can assist me i will really be grateful. i was trying to get through it but they said the course is $19 which is quite alot for me right now. or am i mistaken? @@mn9ajas

@@mn9ajas i am struggling with it bro. please assist me. i didn't get it. i had given up already. thank God i got your response. i have 25 days left to study. ...and yes i already set up a profile. i think they said the material is 19usd or am i wrong?
@@womilojuoluwasegun2094 no problem. I'll try my best to help. When you sign into ISC2 you should see your name at the top right of the webpage, if logging in via a computer. If you're signing in on a phone (possibly tablet as well) you have to go to the two lines at the top right and open up the menu list. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you should see your name there. Either way, once you click on your name you should be able to go to 'my courses' and the online self paced training option should be there. Let me know if you have any luck? Also, is the 19usd not for the e-textbook which you can buy?
Unfortunately, I did not pass the exam. I did receive 90% on practice exams and 100% on the ICS2 quizes. Yes, Caleb is correct about the questions of the real exam which are more difficult than practice. Also knowing noting there were more questions than I anticipated- ISC2 Code of Ethics (10 questions), OSI/TCPIP Protocols consist of 10 questions. I will study harder and review Prabh Nair training :) ugh, i felt disgusted after the results. I was confident that i knew the material. lol
Hi bro, I took the CC exam today and I received a print out from the test center that I passed provisionally that the results might change subject to psychometric and forensic evaluation, I don’t know if I should be or what? Did you get such print out when you did yours? Thank you ❤
