Like you said, you're giving them too much of your creative space for free, but like all things-the more you do it, the better you will get at it. Do what's best for your family and what you like doing and the people who want to watch...will. Those that don't like it know how to unfollow and go find something they like better.

Great video. Yes, I'm a planner nerd, started in the early 90's with Franklin Covey, and for the past 8 years, I have been using the Plum Paper Daily - 6 months at a time. I prefer function over stickers, but yours did look pretty. Thank you for everything, I hope you're feeling better.

Hi Tiffany, glad you’re feeling better. I have always used a planner. For 31 years when I worked for one of the worlds largest chemical companies we all use the Franklin day planner. After I retired I found that I needed to plan even more because my memory wasn’t as good and believe it or not retirees have lots of things to do. I started using the Erin Condren planner but I use the southbound. I love it because it lays flat and doesn’t have that big ring to contend with. Also doesn’t have all the Extra things I am not interested in. It has a lot of extra blank pages that I use for different things and it just works for me. It’s about $50 which is high. I think five dollars of that is monogramming. But I don’t know how anybody makes it without a planner. One thing I got from this video is I’m now going to start using highlighters because you’re right it is easier to see at a glance what’s going on. Love in Christ

So you are a planner girl so am I..... I have used an A5 planner for 25 years.... Some days I don't write anything in it and then sometimes I use it every day. I really wish I did use mine every day.... Write it down and it will clear the clutter from your mind and make you feel so much better. I genuinely do not mind sponsorships. I absolutely think that content creators who are serious about their channels and it is their job and how they provide for themselves and their families, should do them. As a consumer, I genuinely want to learn about these things! You're doing the research for me, and I appreciate that, because like you, I work full time and very often, I just don't have the time to figure these things out for myself. I trust that you have vetted the company before you commit to a sponsorship, and if the product is something I might want or have a use for, I'll buy it. I swear you and I are sisters from a different plane of existence! I love my planners, I use my Ipad planner, I have one for my home, and I have one for work. Like you, I use highlighters, stickers and I have a pen/marker addiction that is something else entirely. Spending quality time in my planners is one of my happy places. Thank you for sharing your RU-vid planner info, I had switched to a calendar year planner, but quickly realized I preferred the "teacher's" format ( the July to June set-up). I have a grandson that lives with me, and I need to keep track of his school activities and schedule, so that format works better for me at this season of life. After I saw the one you use, I went to Target and found one I think I'm absolutely going to love!

Planners, well I guess I would say I do somewhat of planner. I like lists lol my calendar book is my life in pages, from work, budget, projects. Right now new garden nerd I am just created a Garden Planner for annual planting w work sheets I created from colour schemes, plant tags, help me plan next year. I have summer to do list for outside projects, repairs before winter. Helps me stay on track. I have savings binder. My hope for you is that you get to utube full time. Sponsorships will help in that. I like sponsorships I have learned and found some great products from my favourite utubers.

If they were ambitious and felt that’s what they need to do to take care of their family, you can best believe they would do it. Keep doing you. And please do not CARE at all. LOL, I know my last post was kinda long, but I just wanted to say that I looked into the Penny Pincher planner when you first showed us back in January. I was intrigued by the set-up and I wanted to get one, but they sold out before I could. Now that you are showing more of it, I honestly don't think I'd spend the money on it. I'm not sure I'd use enough of it to justify the price tag. I think it's a great planner, but maybe not for me.

Thank you for being honest. If we don’t like the sponsorship you do we can skip past it. What program do you use to edit your programs.

If you are making at least half of your school income, through RU-vid, that is an indication that it’s time to make the leap of faith! You will then be able to devote ‘x’ amount of time during the workday to double (or more) your income through RU-vid, physical products, electronic and printable products, coaching, and all the other good stuff. I am 15 years ahead of you in my teaching career and am looking at retirement in a couple years. If I had been in your position, 15 years ago, I would have made the leap!!

I think if you have sponsors you make more money. So keep doing sponsorships. I understand everyone does them. Some I watch, others I just move my video up until it’s over. So if it makes you money do it. You are so organized. Home and You Tube. I have to write myself a note to remember to do something. I’m definitely not an organized person. And I will admit that. Right now I have the flu, and I have no energy to get things done around the house. I get up and stay on the sofa all day. But I know it won’t last forever. But I don’t get sick very often. And it’s just kicking my behind. I just turned 65. That may be way it’s taking so long. I just want it to go away. I don’t think you talk too much. But my husband tells me I do, so maybe that’s why it doesn’t bother me. I’ve considered making You Tube videos. But I don’t do anything. My house isn’t always clean. I try, but being sick forget it. But I live in the country and don’t really have much of a life. I’m retired. And I like being retired. My daughter has a large family. And when they were all in sports. She always had her planner so she could keep track o f everything going on. Some of the kids aren’t as young anymore so I don’t know if she still uses one.

Sponsorships don't bother me.

I have to be 100% honest and say that a few minutes into the video, realizing that it was going to truly be more about the various planners, I clicked off and stopped watching. Personally I do own a planner which I use in a much more casual way on a daily basis ~ my schedule isn't all that busy or chaotic, so I use mine in a way that keeps track of my daily starting weight (over the past year I have lost a total of 60 pounds, so I weigh myself every morning after getting out of the shower and before I get dressed to hold myself accountable and to make sure that my weight doesn't slowly begin to creep back on) and also to write down any appointments that I do actually have and my daily to do checklist. It is far from anything fancy and no longer a decorative planner like I used in years past (the cost of doing weekly decorative planning quickly began to add up). I will say however that I did briefly read through some of the comments that were left by other viewers, and while sponsored content is not my own personal preference, I do understand and respect why content creators utilize that option. I just fast forward through that portion of the video.

Do what you need to do with sponsorships.

i really like your channel but sponsorships are really intrusive. Especially when there is a new product you love and have to have every week. it is not the truth because a review is different than a sponsor. We don't always want to be pushed into buying something new. I just want to watch someone who takes care of their home creatively and intentionally.

This might be good for other content creator’s but not the normal watcher! I personally found this to be very boring and I would like for you to rewatch this video back and count all the times you said ummm ! If the sponsorship is something I would be interested in then I usually stop watching the video and go and check it out before watching because I know it’s probably going to be super expensive and something that you yourself would buy on your own. Something that I did find quite interesting was the food that you are going to buy anyway that you are going to claim as a expense. Most people who watch RU-vid videos have already seen the sponsorships products at least once before because it seems to be all the same things. But I see where you are coming from…. You get free stuff and get paid on top of that for sharing it. Who doesn’t like FREE stuff! You are right as the channel grows and then so do the sponsorships and that is exactly what you you are doing! You even said yourself that you had to stop following a RU-vidr because it became all about the sponsors. Plus they start becoming quite cocky, especially in the comments and all they care about is the money 💰! Money is more important then spending that precious time with your kids because they grow so fast and next thing you know there grownup and gone and you look back and see how much of there lives and the fun you could have had and missed out on. All because of MONEY! I think content creators are for lazy people who want to stay home and get rich and all the free stuff that they can get! Damn…. I think I want to be a RU-vidr! Lmao 🤣
