All Things Adrienne hi Adrienne hope you are well....much love to you and the ladies of the real I love watching your show all the time, thanks for all the advice through the real....I was watching since the beginning. Once again thanks for being the awesome person you are watching from the only English Speaking country in South America😁😁😊😊😊😊
My wedding hack was to get married at a court house and have a small get together at home for close family and friends! But with your video I may be able to do more on a budget thank you 😭❤️
Beverage tip: give champagne at the beginning of the reception. At the end you can opt for a Prosecco or cavas. The same goes with the wine selection. Choose the better quality wine at the start of your reception. Once everyone is up and dancing, nobody will notice between a chateaupneuf-du-pape and a regular house wine.
Go for cake tasting. Then order the cake for weeks later but don't say it's a wedding. Just a family reunion. Price will drop. Bakeries will higher the price when they hear wedding.
L. G lol yes but the ceremony itself they had there was a small affair🤷♀️ they didn’t pay for their guests to fly in or their guest hotel rooms ( except parents of course)
@@lina-xx8tpif u look at wedding prices in the US 😂 u’d know why doing it in another country is actually cheaper🫣🙇♀️. Plus u didn’t watch the video bc she literally explains another perk of destination wedding. Also i know i’m 4 years late😂
Lol I’m definitely using Adrienne hacks when I get married or throw any party . I do agree with her on the invitations I’m one of those people that throw it out or lose the invitations
I skipped over this a year ago because I wasn’t planning a wedding or engaged..now that I am engaged I’m so happy this popped up on my list of suggestions. I love all of your ideas!
God bless your union! I'm five months out and I was like what can these rich people teach me.....the cake idea was a HIT! My cousin has been on baking competition shows and she'll be making my wedding cake. I'm blessed beyond measure. I would have NEVER thought to only have two layers with actual cake and 4 layers faux.
Same I already know what color I want the venues what color I want the bridesmaids to wear, what kind of wedding dress I want. What Kind of hairstyle I want for myself and my bridesmaids ect.... and I'm only 19 lol
Yeah so rich she has someone run YT like all other celebrities like it's reality TV for another check. So she prob don't even check in or even see comments. So for RU-vidRS that should be #realgoals lol?
@@Sheila612Miller if you hate her so much stop watching and commenting on her content. You are helping her be successful. She inspired me to be resourceful. You seem hurt..fix it somewhere else..
Had a large wedding party, 7 bridesmaids and 2 MOH's! It was so fun, so stress-free, and wasn't a large expense at all! They covered their outfits and hotel, and I gifted them with gifts and food (rehearsal dinner as well as breakfast and lunch day-of before the wedding)! They were incredible encouraging, supportive, and excited for us and our union. Wouldn't have had it any other way!
DOES ANYBODY ELSE LOVE THE FACT THAT ADRIENNE HAS BESN A CELEB FOR OVER 15 YEARS BUT SHES SUPER HUMBLE AND STILL LOVES A GOOD DEAL?!?! YOURE AMAZING ADRIENNE WE LOVE YOU!!! Since the 3LW days!!!!
Who else is obsessed with the fact that A is clearly rich now but you can tell she grew up ... not rich, let’s say 😆 ... and appreciates all her frugalness! Keepin’ it real, as usual, girl! Much love and many blessings. Your wedding will always be one I admire xx
@Javi Ruiz 99% of celebrities were "normal" or poor people they got lucky from someone just hearing them sing/rap at talent shows back in the day. Now it's celebrities putting their rich kids in it or celebrities rich kids getting millions of subs and views on RU-vid. That's the unfair part where they are on YT for 1 week and get subs etc just from their name when others bust their butt putting up content and it taking years to maybe become something they want. RU-vid was for the underdog now it doesn't matter anymore.
I got married a year ago and I agree with EVERYTHING you've said! People take note! The only thing I regret is having bridesmaids, if you can avoid it, please do!
You’ve got a good head on your shoulders Adrienne. I think my wedding was only 5/6 k . No debt to start our marriage. And my wedding had the best food! My guest went back for seconds and thirds! So happy the food was great!
Yes! Same here. We kept everything under 6K and we had 3 different ceremonies (one overseas) and I was able to essentially wear 2 (possibly 3) different dresses. We had great food, an "open" bar, beautiful decór, sentimental touches, projector screens, beautiful florals, a decent size wedding party, beautiful venues, etc. I have a lot of info to give, probably should do a blog in hindsight 🤔 lol.
I just got married 12/26/19! I had the biggest wedding party ever!! 3 flower girls, 1 bride announcer, 1 Bible Boy, 1 Ring Bearer, 2 lantern girls, 2 spirituals sister, 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 1 maid of honor and 1 best man!!!! IT WAS THE BIGGEST HEADACHE OF MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!! LITERALLY!!!!!! It wasn't just the money that I had to spend on them but also having to actually deal with all of them!!! I will say there were some gems in the group that held me down but overall I REGRET IT SO MUCH!!! I SWEAR I CRIED like every week! if you are planning a wedding HEED MY WARNING keep it small and be very careful and select ppl that are WILLING and ABLE to support you and your future hubby's journey to the alter.
Thank you this is very helpful! I think I will just have my sister as the maid of honor and my two cousins. I felt really bad at first, but now I see that I rather have family as bridesmaids who actually know me then a "friend" I talk to a few times a year...Its hard to find good friends :/
@@melindahmkhwanazi NP! Im glad my story can help future brides! I hope I can do a 10 year! My husband is so against it now because of all the issues we had with our wedding!
@@danam8450 Yup absolutely keep it small! As long as they are truly supporting you. For me surprisingly it was actually my friends and my husband's family!
Holy cow mine was a Cathedral Catholic wedding 400 guests . Very traditional over the top but I can’t imagine 600 guests !? It sounds awesome 😎. But definitely see the headaches
miofanlover Do what's best for you. The trip will help with your anxiety. I know anxiety sometimes makes deciding things harder, don't forget you are in control of your life. Things will get better, ..coming from a person that deals with it as well.
I love that these were real tips that real people could use. I love that you're still aware of what the average person can afford. Thanks for being you. ❤
We got married at the court house. My dress was on sale sale. ($50), we got a mini bouquet of flowers and a boutonnière for my husband ($70 for both total). Hired a professional photographer ($75 for 1hr). Both wore converse, 4 people were invited and then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Super low key! And we didn’t go into debt. Best day ever ♥️
AFmedic ! And I bet your still married! I basically did the same thing we have two beautiful children, two dogs, been married for 16 years and still going strong! You don’t need all the extras! 👍😊
Adrienne lost more weight and she’s glowing. Aging like a bottle of expensive wine. So proud of you for going on a healthy journey and I’m following in your footsteps !!!!
With love, I have never really observed a bride to be best friends with her bridesmaids before maybe only once. An I mean like having a unique sisterly bond maybe one out of 7 bridesmaids but not all of them. Usually it seems like you all belong to a group but you only really click with one. Women let’s be wise with our choosing.
OMG!! Thank you for this video. I m planning my wedding right now and was so worried about budget. I was worried about people saying wow she went the cheap route. But your right if they care it doesn't matter. Love you and keep staying real. It is a blessing to others.
Your wedding was on my birthday, and considering you’ve been my favorite person since the early 2000’s, when I found out the date of your wedding a few years ago it made my life 😭❤️
Kimee look up jamie wolfer! She is a wedding planner who posts the most helpful videos especially if you’re budget brides, she’s got a video about everything omg lol !! When are you getting married?
Kimee dang sis you have a lot on your plates that’s a lot of wedding but definitely just remember to take a breathe and ENJOY it! My weddding is in oct and wow they sneak up fast. Good luck I’m sure it’ll be wonderful😍😍
Me and my husband got married in Portugal, the location, the food, the people... such a beautful wedding, photos on the beach, the church was surrounded by a castle... Loved every minute of it and we did it all on a small budget. ❤️
I am Indian and we are known to have elaborate weddings and by elaborate I mean, 1000+ people elaborate. But honestly, having about 100-200 people or less would be just amazing. Just a few close people, no showy fun fare but still luxurious in its own way offering gifts at the end of the wedding, baking cookies, clicking pictures, and basically, truly celebrating the unison of two souls. That to me this beautiful!
I think I got emotional thinking of putting center pieces with family’s marriage photos definitely an idea I’d pick up. The cake option was so helpful! I also, love DIY things so I definitely love the individuality of your wedding. I feel like it’s literally the law of attraction planning my wedding now and there’s so many things to do to make it fun and meaningful rather than expensive!
For my sister's wedding, the wedding favours were little succulents in mason jars with ribbons. They acted as both table decorations and favours. They came straight from her garden, meant to represent them starting their new lives together and extending that life to their wedding guests. It was great to see people still keeping their succulents on windowsills in their homes and for those who didn't take their favours, she put straight back in her garden. No money wasted, everything could be re-purposed and the jars were cheap from the dollar store. Money well spent!
I've probably watched at least 50 wedding videos and this was one of the most useful! I will definitely be using some of these tips for our wedding. Mahalo for the great video!
Watching this agreeing with EVERYTHING! I just got married in July and my friends and family thought we spent sooo much more then we actually did. All these hacks and special details - WE DID! We had fake flowers, the fake cake, memorial table, small wedding party, destination(kinda), only sent out 100 invites, 2 signature drinks... list goes on. We loved it, and people are still talking about it.
Honestly, this is one of the best RU-vid videos I have ever seen and it comes at a great time. So many helpful tips, I took notes. Thanks, Adrienne! ❤️
Adrienne keepin it so real! I love it! Every other celeb (and people that don’t have the money, but try to impress folks they don’t even like) spend so much on weddings just for show. You are money goals!!
Planning my wedding atm and was being overwhelmed. Your advices are fantastic! And yes what you thought about the wedding and the meaning of it make me feel better now! I hope I'll have a great one as yours! Luv
Honestly when i clicked on this video i was like hmmm yeah lets see what this rich famous lady considers "budget/ wedding" lol but these are seriously very helpful i seen a video by jamie wolfer called something like "Things your guests DGAF about" and some of the tips cross over. I Love this especially someone who may have more means than the average couple to pay for a wedding. Alot of us worry too much about what others will think and her saying these things might make people more confident and comfortable with their budgets and decisions ❤❤🥂
Perfect timing. I’m getting married This April. And I’m trying to save money in any way I can. It’s getting stressful. Still trying to find a make up and hair artist which is hard. I wish you would do my make up 🥺😩
Congratulations!!! Try networking around with girlfriends who have some makeup skill and hair skills they don't have to be pros just good. You'd be surprised how much talent you find in your own friends and family. My bestie did my flowers, another gf did my hair (for free as my gift) and another did my photos which i paid her for but it wasn't ridiculous like 5k for pics.
If you have to do invitations, go the Ali Express way! I did my wedding invites there and they costed a few cents each, and they were beautiful! I help my friends and brides always learn how to save money and plan budget friendly weddings, lemme know if you need some help! I love LOVE and I LOVE weddings so it's a passion for me! I even do photography and videography for very inexpensive (we're one of the least expensive togs in Montreal for sure and almost across Canada) Let me know if you'd like us to shoot your wedding, we travel all across Canada and the US. Our page is @NoorEvents on instagram! :D
Claudia Vidals thanks for the advice. I didn’t think about my girlfriends or their girlfriends. I will absolutely ask around. That would be a lot of help. Thanks 😊
Adrienne! I am no where near getting engaged, but what I love about you is that you are always so real and empathetic and so personable. I honestly enjoy watching all of your videos and whenever I need advice, I always think "I wonder if Adrienne did a video on this" or if I need fashion inspiration, I always look to your Instagram to see if I can recreate a look you had! I truly admire you and the life that you have created for yourself😁💕
Lol, Adrienne, you're saying I shouldn't have invited my mother, my in laws, and my favorite aunts, because they would totally judge me for being cheap!
I agree with her. If those people are seriously going to talk behind your back because of the choices you make on your most special day..really? They can't stick up for you just once?
My favorite time of the week....ALL THINGS ADRIENNE!!!!! Seriously has made my auditing life so much easier! I LOVE YOU my forever favorite Cheetah Girl!!!! 😘❤️✨
My sisters did a great job planning my wedding March last year. I would’ve been a mess!!! ♥️♥️♥️Thanks Essie, Debbie & Damie. You guys are my Adrianne & her team💞
Unreal how you put that wedding together fake and real flowers together that is a steal I like that I'm just like that saving money I really like the way you explained to your wedding is how you decorated wow
Thank you so much for this video! I’m getting married next month in Jamaica and this video reassured me on a lot things that I’ve been having anxiety over.
Omg I love the photos on the table of people who been married so long. You brought tears to my eyes I want people to look to me and my husband like that when we are older. Reminded me of my girls wedding when her parents danced at her wedding! Inspiration love love love
Love this Adrienne! I DIY'd my backdrop , floral box, and so much more decor. Also contacted some companies to send me some things (I.e my invitations) to also share on my channel! Cake is also styrofoam! Saved a lot on a beautiful wedding! 🤍
Just got engaged two weeks ago, and now I’m binge watching wedding planning videos. These are some great tips that I actually may use, particularly, the digital save the dates and maybe wedding invitations, the fake cake (I’m not a cake lover and the feeding the cake portion of weddings is boring to me 🤷🏾♀️), the no bridal party (I will probably just ask less people than my original 6), the centerpiece pictures (cute and unique), and baked goods party favors (I will either not have favors or have a chocolate or candy bar as the favor)
OMG I am so happy you said digital invites. I’ve always thought they were such an unnecessary expense, but kept being told it’s tacky. The wedding industry is out to get your money, and paper invites is just a trap.
Tell the makeup artist you're a wedding guest so you want a soft wedding look. Sis, you'll get it done at a cheaper price and will come out looking better because it won't be overdone. Win win situation.
Mee me as a makeup artist I can assure you this is NOT a good idea. The level of service provided to a bride is a different application than someone who just is attending an event. You should choose your artist by their portfolio and wouldn’t recommend someone who’s work looks overdone for any occasion. 💕💕💕💕
@@AlishaNycole I don't doubt your prowess by any means, neither am I underestimating the work put into what you do but I'm only saying this from experience. I've seen artists do a similar thing if not the same thing for 3x the amount just because it's for a wedding. Hence, this suggestion. Thanks for chiming in 💕🤗💕
@@mystique907 But the price is for the extra service brides receive on their wedding day. The trial makeup a week prior, more expensive primers/moisturizers so that it stays all night and looks perfect in wedding photos (extra care than bridal guests since photos are the most important aspect of a wedding for the bride for the memories). So its not "similar" lol
As a makeup artist I would 100% not recommend this. I take almost 2x as much time with my bride getting to know their skin, their facial features, and all in all just making sure every detail of their makeup is perfect and photographs perfect. I use more expensive skincare/ product to ensure the makeup stays on all day/ night and photographs perfectly. Beings that you’re going to most likely be in that makeup for 12 hours and photographed all day long and have these pictures for the rest of your life. Spending a little extra on your face is absolutely worth it.
So helpful!!! Just engaged and was doubting my plans for having a destination wedding but this video just further confirmed it’s the way to go! Thank you so much 💝
Wow, I love what I just heard. Really cracked up "we are not drinking, this is a religious ceremony" 🤣 . This was really helpful as I am planning for my wedding 💑
I just got engaged on New Years so this is perfect timing! We are planning on one maid of honor and one best man. I was wondering if I would regret that but it sounds like a good thing from these comments! I loved the decoration ideas!!!
FINALLY!!! I do not understand why most bloggers omit this from their "money saving" ideas...Use the floral arrangements from the ceremony and repurpose them for the reception. You hit the nail on the head with that suggestion!
Loved these tips. I get married in September I been with my best friend since we were 13yrs old.. 25 yrs together and finally getting married.. I been a huge fan love watching your videos! Thanks
Thanks so much for this! I’m currently planning my own wedding, and it’s only my fiancé and I that are funding everything. I definitely going to take some of your tips with me, and tell my fiancé! 🥰
I recently got engaged. And thinking of spending too much on a wedding has literally brought me anxiety. My finance and I both agree on not starting a marriage with debt. This was so helpful. Thanks for sharing ❤️
This is so helpful! I’m getting married after I graduate from nursing school in 2021 so I’m looking to save money EVERYWHERE Lol. Planning a wedding as a student requires budgeting 😩
these were some of the most awesome tips I have come across so far. Everyone gives tips but its usually having a ton of people that can help them or give them something. These felt like tips for those of us who do not have that option with family or friends, and suck at dyi projects. Thanks Adrienne you have a new sub.
I meant more like what if the person you sent it too “accidentally” sends it to someone else like “omg look I’m going to so & so wedding” To the weddings I’ve been to, they had a complete stranger going through the invitations (papers) ... with digital invitations, many people can show the same invitations.
