This is how I planned my wedding in a total of 6 weeks from start to finish, we wanted it to be minimal, simple, and most importantly - Christ Centered! This was also a Covid wedding with limited guests so I share how we navigated that. I'm sharing with you my tips for wedding planning, my personal do's and don'ts, and the details of my own wedding!

OMGOSH, I am fasting for my wedding right now. No engagement or anything just leaning on what God told me and he led me to this page! It just popped up, and I have butterflies from the confirmation flowing out of this! I literally want all the music to be worship music and when you just said this I had to pause and comment. WOWWWW. That's great. I believe for your wedding but don't get too wrapped up in butterflies/ emotions. Stay in peace and purpose. Try not to obsess. I can guarantee if your too in feelings it will affect your courtship. Get in your calling. Refocus.

We married in 1975. Had 50 people. Reception at church hall. No drinking. No dancing. Cold cuts!! Still married. Bought a house instead. Dress of the rack from JCPenney. Cost $50. No big ring. No regrets

I ordered the book you suggested, 31 prayers for your future husband, just received it in the mail. Excited to start reading it. I have never married, I am 46, have been single over 10 years. I have been letting God mold me into the Godly woman he wants me to be. I pray he blesses me with a Godly husband.

As a Christian, I’ve also been a journey with pleasing Christ’s with what I’m wearing. I have to say Muslim(middle eastern) women are a good inspiration for modesty. Especially when the devil is doing everything he can to misguide brothers and sisters. We opted for a simple 8 close people wedding I think it’s the way to go.

Thank you for your advices.... When I think about the ceremony, it matches almost all the details you mentioned... A Christ's centered wedding, worshipping music, a simple yet elegant ceremony (I even pictured people being healed that day, lovers reconnecting,...) I also don't want to have a long-lasting party and ending late...🤗 I would like to share that moment with the people I love and honor them as well... The dress (from V.Wang😅 also, as I was telling The Lord how chic I would like to look that day to honor Him) Just having a good memorable day with friends and family... Now I'm waiting... We did a few things “differently” at our wedding. We couldn’t afford alcohol (and we weren’t even 21 at the time) so we skipped it! We also couldn’t afford real flowers so we made all of our own arrangements from silk flowers. I did my own nails, hair, makeup etc and although I do wish we had a smaller wedding now, I do think our wedding was beautiful and meaningful and didn’t break the bank for us as a young couple. ❤️

Your wedding was so beautifully done. I love the simplicity of your wedding dress but also the uniqueness of the lacey sleeves. Yes, I don't understand why people have to have so many in the wedding party. Love that you used worship music for your wedding. You made it simple but unique and memories will last forever. It's not about how lavish we can make it.

what tips do you have for women like me who would not want my mom and family there like that. They are very toxic and I wouldn’t want to hurt anyone but I truly would want that day (if I get married) to be precious and clear of toxic people. Also thank you for your tips!
