Told my son that as soon as grant feels comfortable in front of the camera, hes gonna start running it out. IMO hes the best of good good. The other doods are great too, but grant not only has a flawless swing, hes a golf encyclopedia
Good attitude and always brings the energy. Let’s not forget he grew up with a golf pro pops! Privilege to be around the game like that. He’s making the most of it too.
Awesome stuff Grant. I am constantly refreshing RU-vid to check for the latest content from you guys. You never disappoint. Looking forward to the labs!
I’ve just started playing golf seriously this past summer, watching grant and the rest of good good has made it so much more enjoyable. These videos help a ton, keep up the great content!!
Grant, you really are an amazing ambassador for the greatest game in the world. I really enjoyed this practice technique and will try to emulate it. Thanks :)
Played this morning and did this exact warm up pre round. Wow it does work. I previously would hit so many range balls that I would get tired before round was over. Thanks Grant for the info!!!
Grant, love the vids man. I think you should start a RU-vid series on coaching beginners/new players. You’re such a great teacher and your info + experience would be so valuable for people just starting to golf (how to set up, swing mechanics and tips etc)
Grant you should consider uploading a training series where you do a set of videos for eliminating a slice, eliminating a hook, adding distance off the tee, driver swing, irons swing, etc. since all the good good guys give you so much credit for helping them, share the love!
These videos have been a huge help. I'm 43 and had to take the last 10 years off while my twin boys were young. I've been able to play more in the last 6 months and have gone from a 16 to a 8 handicap. I still come over the top and I'm trying to shallow out and reduce my backswing. So a video on that would be awesome! Thanks
Love this video. I see yall grinding up at Watters frequently. I was wondering if you ever thought of giving any viewers a lesson or two, cause I'd be willing to pay for your service and let you use it for content! I've never had a lesson in my life and I'm about a 12 hc, play 30+ rounds a year. I'd definitely put in the work outside the lessons and would love to hit some balls with you or do an on course session. LMK, keep up the amazing work.
Great video Grant. I'm curious how often, if ever, you get to warm up like this before you shoot the Good Good videos? If not, how have you adjusted? I think the whole crew would benefit from a warmup range session before going out to film.
Awesome tips Grant! I was just wondering how you practice chipping around the greens without getting in a groups way though? We have practice greens at my local public course, but they are almost totally flat greens and not really realistic of the actually holes, so I do well at those and then have a hard time reading the greens when I play.
I've never had a lesson in my life. Grant would be an unbelievable instructor. The consistency in his swing is something I try to emulate. It's also something I haven't been able to emulate yet. I'm hoping to dedicate more time for practice this year because right now, my practice is playing, which is what most of us would say. Nothing better than a smooth easy swing that produces so much distance and accuracy.
Love your stuff. One thing I can't help say. Chip vs pitch is defined not by distance but by how you hit it. If the bounce of the club hits the ground first then it's a pitch. If the leading edge hits the ground first then it's a chip.
I definitely need to make some changes to my practice routine. Thanks for the tips man. Keep up the great work. I sound like a broken record but you look like a young Phil Mickelson
Grant where I've watched videos were you help people improve there game I've used those techniques an I got invited to play in a tournament thanks for all the inspiration an tips
would love to see a video on face control. is there a feeling or thought you have to square the face at impact? i have a tendency to keep the face open.
I’ve learned more about golf from Grant and Tig than any other Good Good members. They’re all great in their own right, but Grant and Tig are on a different level.
What are your thoughts about warming up / practicing off turf vs actual grass? I can hit 100 balls off turf at the range and flush most of them. Then I get on the course and chunk every other shot 😅
'Good Good Labs' -- Focus on one aspect and improving it. Mini lessons and drills for each skill/episode creates the lab for that video. But you need to bring in guests each week. Hella Official
This reconfirms in my mind that I need Grant as swing coach. I like everything he does with a club in his hand... except for blasting putts 10 feet past the hole!
