hello everyone, here I bring you episode two of "Open Practice" I was very happy to see the positive feedback from the first episode.
In this one I bring you Tchaikovsky´s Rococo variations, the Tema and variations 1 and 2, I hope you enjoy the episode!
as always, this is just a little insight into my work, every practice day is different but I hope this video gives you some ideas into what to work on your own.

For me, this guy is the best cellist I've ever seen, and I watch a lot of them on RU-vid. Pablo plays masterfully, and I've lost count of how many times I've listened to his version of Tchaikovsky. It's wonderful, it seems like Tchaikovsky composed it for Pablo to play lol

For the same reason I like Russian and other composers from Eastern Europe too.. As a cellist, your repertoire says a lot about you plus once your repertoire gets into your blood it's all you wanna do, plus there's only so many hours in the day...lol Everything is muscle memory at one point that involves at least 2 to 3 hours of practice a day with breaks and a meal... The other point is depending on the composer there's only so many pieces to choose from that's why Bach gets boring after a while unless you can attach an experience you had to it and relive it everytime on stage. For Pablo it's probabaly Dvorak, for me its Rachmaninoff and some Debussy... I would have responded in Spanish to your comment but I type faster in English.... lol
