Excellent advice and a great review! It's so true how impactful preplanning can be to help smooth out life's bumps in the road. Even if you don't know a specific issue is going to come up, if you have a solid plan in place you have a better idea of where you can shift or pivot to accommodate the unexpected and it makes the day to day worries just a little less difficult because you've already set yourself up to handle life when it manages to be normal.
This is helpful. Currently on maternity leave and my paycheck was drastically slashed and im barely hanging on. But want to master this budget thing so that way when I go back up to my maximum income I will know how to deal with less and save more.
