Looking forward to seeing some work with the set from you, Tito. I got my 3 lens BAS set in 2009 from a Russian seller on Reduser for peanuts. There was like a two month stretch after I sent the money with no word about the lenses shipping, but in the end they arrived safely. Been using them non-stop since. I will be buried with them, in the end.
I really miss my ex Lomo 35mm square, it was a very expressive lens ... By the way, I have for sale an original spherical lens unit, which is designed specifically for anamorphic (version f2.5) And also I once made for myself a homemade repeater for the 35NAS with an M39 mount, designed for any mirrorless cameras. This worked very well for personal use. If anyone is interested, I can try to repeat this work.
It's so fascinating to me that I'm watching your videos and enjoying them so much. I'm just a student in Germany who shoots videos as a hobby. Anyways, hope you'll get your dreams to come true, and we'll see another anamorphic feature film:)
"... it would involve the consumption of more whiskey than my liver can afford, and I'm Irish born and bred..." Veeesh mirmão, that's when you know it's serious! Can't wait for part two! Se cuida.
Just received my Cinemascope tshirt and anamorphic lens poster! Pretty stoked about them both! I bought the poster as a tool more than for the aesthetic looks, but I'm happy it still looks really good. Have you considered creating a pocket reference/guide or physical copy of your anamorphic guide? Blurb.com is a great resource for self-publishing! I used them to create a photobook/catalogue for a group show I put on in 2018! Great value @ 5$/copy for a 52 page 6"x9" colour bound book. Theres no minimum to orders, they'll sell you a production quality PDF for 5$, and they'll print on demmand for you or sell it through their online store for you! Pretty rad jazz if you ask me, just make sure you colour calibrate your monitor before using their software to ensure the best colour reproduction! Take care, Tito!
@@AnamorphicOnABudget I really have no idea who I've sold my lenses to. I think I used to have like 10 of Lomo Squarefronts when they were still cheap (compared to nowadays). Anyway, I'm currently building a set of LOMO SQ too! I just got a 35mm one for less than $7K but the transaction is still pending, so I'm not sure if it's gonna be mine at the end or not hehe.
