Thanks for your sharing, I’ve suffered from ocd for almost 9 years, but I never truly understood the ocd structure. Your video is such a great inspiration!

Thank you so much for the last minutes of the video.I'm 2,5 months in a recovery plan (reading the books,disputing,watching you content,trying to improve my life structure etc.) and the struggle is real lol I have to work to take the long - term road instead of getting disturbed with every daily setback 🙂

Thanks for the video. I particularly resonated with what you said about rumination and compulsion. I think looking for compulsions in an effort to get rid of them may have become a compulsion in itself. How is best to deal with this?

Hey Sam! So there were definitely times were I had to take my foot off the gas and just live, not as a long term solution but to give myself some time to chill the fuck out lol. I would think 'okay, I have done a lot recently let's just try and keep habits as good as I can for now and just live for a month or so.'

Please help me I am aware of my eyes, not just blinking but observing them and noticing them and the redness. Focusing on them worries me and plunges me into a whirlpool of ocd . When I try to accept the situation, thoughts come to me that I will harm myself, possibly by pressing on my eyes and affecting their function, and I fear from blindness. Is this considered as a type of sensorimotor ocd what should I do please help me 😢😢

Is it true that through disputing we can reach a level of not caring and not taking seriuosly when people insult us or disrespect us? I feel trapped in the need to show superiority

Hey Gabrielius! We can get to a point of acceptance, not necessarily not caring as that's not really possible but there can be baseline peace.

Hey Will! I personally treat them as one and the same. I strictly look at the beliefs and behaviors behind anything and go from there.

Hey buddy! I personally didn't but it wasn't 100% the best decision because I really experienced a ton of physical symptoms. Medications could of eased that for a while.

What if you past the stage of chronic ocd but then comes the fear of fear where you are having a conversation with someone and think what if I see something (scared your going to go crazy) it goes away because you don’t put mind to it but it still lingers. Or if harm ocd still lingers but is not as intense so you are just always scared.

I’m not always scared, you interpreted wrong. I no longer have chronic ocd. I have moments that I sometimes feel scared of like what if I go crazy. I was seeking advice on how to finally overcome that for good. I thankfully live a normal life like I use to. I worked hard on my beliefs etc.
@OCDrecoveryNick

Hey Iriz! This usually means there A) Is slightly more work to do on subtle beliefs B) Could still be some self-reassurance C) Subtle outward compulsions D) Still the belief 'ugh please just go away'
