@@RegenAutomotive seriously though. gotta get a pick and then I'll be half way done my lines blew and I didn't wanna drop the entire thing unless I needed to so hopefully when I get the pick it'll help lol
@@RegenAutomotive yes I don't have a pick so I was using a few other things to get the clips off I need to get a pick got everything outta the way just need to get the lines off and my hands to big to fit in there and without the pick my only other option was to drop it but I really didn't wanna do that and seeing you not use a lift and still got your entire hand in there makes me go wtf 🤣 as I can barely fit 2 fingers past the bottom line
@@Somersetauto Sounds like you got big ol farmer's hand over there 🤣 🤣 I'm confident you can get the line off with a pick and without dropping the trans. Good luck!
@@RegenAutomotive no worries because your video was right on point and after I saw your video I’m sure if I just take my time I could actually drop my 4L60E from my 1997 Chevy C1500 myself now and go ahead and replace it myself..” yes indeed!💯👌
@RegenAutomotive I watched all 3 4L60e videos. Would you do anything differently if you did it again? I have a 05 4x4 Yukon 5.3L. 233,000 miles. Looking to get a used cheap broken 4L60/65/70 to rebuild with my teen as a DIY learning project. To have ready. I found a used one for $60, with nothing but Reverse working. Thanks!
@thesetruths1404 It sounds like you are doing yours on a budget, which is also the route I took. So far, I wouldn't have done anything differently. It's been about 3k km, and it's still holding up well. I just did a weekend of camping/ off-roading, and it took the abuse well.
