In this light painting portrait tutorial video I show you exactly how i created two off camera flash photographs using long exposures!

To take these light painting photographs I used my Sony A9 camera, Sony FE 35mm 1.8 lens, a Pixelstick, one off camera speed light and a MagMod Grid and MagSphere.

Great question! No, I will have pre-focused but then asked Demi not to move. I should have said that in the video though, thank you

Sir, What about the Subject whom you going to shoot, if they are moving ?? I am asking this as you are going to shoot with a slow shutter .

Great question, but it doesn't matter in this instance because there was practically no ambient light. This means that Demi could even have walked out of the shot after the flash had gone off and it wouldn't have mattered (unless I went over the area she was with the pixel stick). You only see movement if there is ambient light in the scene. Good question though!
