lisey maybe you’re putting to much pressure. try drinking lotsssss of water to get rid of the dryness in your throat. try to scream but add breath to it. i think maybe just make sure you’re not hurting your voice.

It could be because you push with a lot of air, try using as little as you need so it comes out light and beautiful. Hope this helped :)

Hey I have a question and any possible reply would be great. I've gone through puberty and I've lost my ability to sing whistles like i had before. Before my vocal range was E1-G#5-Bb7 and now its E1-F#5-C#6 they come out as small squeals/speaks then when i let out the rest of my air after I can't handle the pressure anymore it whistles. When i whistle is soooo quiet but it doesn't crack or change in pitch I've managed to slowly fix that. But how do I make my whistles louder and more refined. After hydration, vocal warm ups, lip trills and practice singing. It's become hard to make a chime but have gone to the doctor and there is no strain or damage so I haven't done anything wrong so far. Would you have any ideas? please anything helps. If you read this far you are the truest MVP. Luv you and your content.

they're higher than soprano notes that's why and u can here us better than altos and basses and baretones cause lower voices r always much lower vol than soprano

Youre obvi a Lyric Soprano.. But Do you think youre a coloratura? You can get pretty high up in falsetto and your super good a melismas.

It all depends on how you sing on other registers. If you could flow easily in a chest register then you just have to experiment a way to transfer that into the whistle register. Hope that helped :)

It was a mix, it came a bit natural for me but it took time to get it to muscle memory. :)

I have an 8 octave(instuner) app similar to yours and the highest note that I've ever hit was G8 and that was totally by accident. You have awesome control and great fluidity in your whistle notes! I love listening to them. It might take me longer to get my whistle notes in check bcuz, maybe, it could be the fact that I'm older(almost 50) lol. I can't wait to take a voice class and opera for my electives towards my degree hopefully when the state decides to reopen everything. Unfortunately, my school went to remote learning and everything is on hold for me at this time because of no internet or technology and the school wasn't really prepared for the transition. I'm gonna have to find other resources for continuing safe singing exercises. Any suggestions during these times? Thanks for any information would be great 😊👍

Did you go through puberty? Did you do it incorrectly? If so, you're going to have to experiment with your voice safely, if you do it in a way where it feels strained try a different method. Everyone's different and we all learn differently. I hope this helped! 💜

Harryismyfcupcake oooooh we're the same. I had laryngitis and I wasn't aware until I was diagnosed. I guess I got that due to singing whistle improperly. I can't even hit falsetto higher than G5. lol I'm a female. I still haven't gone back to my doctor to know if I have permanently damaged my cords 😭😭

Harryismyfcupcake do you snore? I lost mixed voice/high chest and my voice would crack. I started sleeping on my side to prevent snoring. Fixed after 3 weeks.

hey Zane. i really love all your video about whistle. i always do it when i was senior high school and stop almost 2 years. now it was a hard try to do even i can't do it *sob* but watching your video is always motivating me to do it again one more time and to do it smoothly too. big THANKS to you!! And yeah every time i do this technique all people see me. Think that i'm WOW? no, they said i like a pig. omg. but i don't care, beacause whistle take me to first winner when i was on a senior high school celebration. I'll try to do it again, try to get it and do it again. one more time thank you Zane. Keep posting because i'm your big fan right now. Jesus bless😇

Hello Zane a pilipino fan here, I am sixteen and , I can do whistle tones since I was in junior high ,and suddenly I lose it when I was in senior high,yet thanks to you i have resurrected it again and started practicing to harness it.love ya,and thank you so much

I can do whistle notes but it's pretty much impossible for me to buzz or do tounge rolls in the whistle register. Does that mean I'm doing it wrong?

If you can do it without buzzing then you're ahead of the game Daniel. The buzzing is just a way to warm up that register and for beginners to tap into that register 💓

+Benjamin Alonzo it's kind of the same as having agility in your other ranges, as long as you are comfortable in your whistle range, you can easily flow through the notes 😊 hope that helped!
