Like this different vid. I do construction in KS but I'm lucky my family is from Northern Minnesota. I help groom over 400 miles of trail for the club I'm in which pays for my fuel at least! Went after Christmas n finished up maple syrup last week and just got home.
I had just watched one of your other videos and I was just asking myself what you do that you can sled every day. Then this video was there. Looks like you have a pretty good skillset.
First started watching because I’m from Muskoka. Stayed because the content is awesome. I know exactly where that property is! Lol…see you on the road.
@@MuskokaFreerider I would waxth more of these videos even though I wacth your channel for the snowmobile videos I would like to wacth mote of these videos keep up the great work 👍
These 'off-season' videos are excellent Matt. Sure some of your hardcore snowmobile audience may not fully appreciate them, but many do and it might be a way to grow your channel and introduce new people to the charismatic Muskoka Freerider.
Great video Matt. I know you work your ass off, thanks for showing the viewers your work. 3 season later can't wait for season 4, and season 2 of work/ summer videos. Stay safe out there.
Yeah started watching your videos in the season 2019 2020, then 2020-2021, 2021-2022. Then watched most of the summer videos from last off season. Great videos and seem to be an alright guy 👦 too.
Great video Matt! I will watch anything you upload! :D Big part of why I enjoy your videos is that you are such a likeable person and you are just doing really well in this format! Doesn't matter if you are on a snowmobile or in an excavator. :) I do feel sorry for you tho that you guys dont have the rototilt on the excavator. Would make your job so much easier! We build them here in sweden! Keep em coming!
@@MuskokaFreerider You can ask boss man if he think you should get back to horse riding instead of snowmobile riding. Since no rototilt on that excavator is like amish.... 😂 Here in Sweden you hardly ever see an excavator without rototilt, welcome to the future! 😁 Here you have a video from "Dirt Ninja" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_PkXqQ2AcPw.html Go Engcon!🤘
Awesome video Matt! Really appreciate this content. The wife and I watched your videos consistently and always appreciated your candor, demeanor, and realness you bring to the screen. Keep up your hard work and we’ll be watching anything you post in the meantime. Cheers brother!
Hey Matt, workplaytv posts videos just like this one and I enjoy them all. Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing more of this especially when I watch all of your stuff while getting ready for school.
Hey now, I come here for sledding videos, not running excavators same as me ha ha. I can't figure out how people can dent up zero swing machines so much? Construction is a decent way to be off for the winters, I slow down to a crawl but still do a bit, had to give up snow removal as it is not compatible with sledding! The $$ thing? Well, you sort of have to plan all year for your sledding expenses and budget accordingly. Have a good season bud!
Great video. I live in Sweden but I made the mistake of getting into computer science because society and parents said so, hated working in an office, right now I am actually changing into becoming a truck driver here in Sweden. Waaaaaaaaaay more fun! And at least here in Sweden, carpenters and electricians etc make way more money than software engineers, especially since a lot of them get paid under the table doing private work (taxes are otherwise really high for income here, higher than Canada).
Hey! Just watched this vid! And I´ve got a little tip! When you are digging nearby a powerline or waterline. Why not dig along the ine?? There iss a much lower chance for damaging the line that way!
A smart contractor would call the power company and have them mark where they are rather than playing the guessing game. You're liable for damages since no permit was issued
Been watching your videos since i found you a couple of weeks ago, love all of your content your work videos are awesome as well! I manage construction projects on local roads and its great to see your all around videos!
I have a 314D LCR....noticed the left side of window frame is really wide on the E series.....shitty getting so many dents and cracked windows.....10500hrs on my hoe....awesome machines!
I would have expected the frost to be still in the ground! Great video! keep them coming. I enjoy watching this as much as the Snowmobile video. This video reminded me of my favorite construction youtuber Andrew Camarata. "Hydro" must be a Canada thing. Here in Minnesota it is a "Water" line.
I work near you for Hydro One.......dont be that guy that just assumes where the secondary wires go, you would be surprised sometimes. Ive went to many a trouble call with a burn up meter base and a sad looking operator
I didn’t assume. I was told by the home owner the hydro runs to the corner of the shed and that it was in a conduit. I know a locate would be great but it was forgotten. I dug in the same way I would’ve weather I had a locate or not
Thank you very much, keep the construction coming! It's very interesting to see what you're up to, not everyone gets to play with live sized Tonka toys every day...
Do you like the cat 314? I hate our 315f compared to our 325 and 330 cats and I even prefer our link belt 145/225/245 to the 315. I’ve never seen the pedals without the hand sticks, very interesting. Sad that your machine was beat up in that period of time. It’s sad! Me and another guy know that feeling at our work all too well.
Excellent work and video. Doesn't matter what season it is, your videos are always top notch, interesting, and unique. I feel for you with the excavator, I ran into the same thing on a constant basis in the oilfield. Keep it clean, be aware of your surroundings and avoid damage. Grease and do all the required preventative maintenance. Then come back 2 weeks later and there's a smashed up, dirty excavator that's been abused with no maintenance. Sure does show who's proud of their work and respects their equipment, and who's simply there for a paycheck and nothing more. Keep up your great work Matt!!
People blow so much money on houses it's insane. Doesn't cost 450k to have a place to eat, sleep, poop, and shower. That's where a majority of peoples money goes.
Thanks Heaps for your videos , Been watching for 2 seasons now :) Really enjoy the summer work videos too, quite an enlightening experience. Heading into Winter here in Aus, Can't Sled, nor find a Sled here.... but I really want to give it a crack at revvy in Feb 2023 :) #novice
@@MuskokaFreerider Lived in Jasper & Banff for 2 years in 2012, And been over a few times since. Avid skier, but want to branch out. Had the chance to use a sled in patrol at Norquay, was always good fun, but your riding is just damn amazing! Getting to boulder is on major must do bucket lists, will hit up Full speed. And how did i end up finding your channel, By darn luck and many night shifts. Your releases come out about lunch time ;)
I had a hunch it was construction, I live vicariously through you. I'm a tool salesman and there's no way I could take this much time off without screwing my business. Lol yes I did creep back on your page, thank you for the awesome vids Matt!!
If you ever need a job I would hire you. We're in Oregon USA, and have great tree riding here (lots of trees) and we are only 14 hours from Revelstoke. Thanks for the great videos.
So good to see another video with Jerry 1 in it too! Awesome. Damn they really fuq'd up your rig when you were gone man...brutal! Hope they home reno's are going smooth Matt! Keep the videos coming man.
its amazing just what you can do for work and work so close and with the company on some thing, like i have been to that yard and loaded bacher trucks lol, im from bracebridge and work out of killworthy freerider has at some point in the past few week moved sand and thing i sent that way
YOU WORK HARD TO PLAY HARD. It’s awesome to be able to do what you do and it probably takes a bit of the work load off your Dad when you get back home 🤙🤙🤙🤙 Hey Brother it was an awesome season and Thanks Again for all the work you do to bring us great content.
Just like riding the sled for the first time in season, little rusty for 5 minutes, then just like you never left it. Keep videos coming, make more money yet and also buy a Lynx.
I like to watch how the foundation comes along for that garage and many more construction vids I too use to work in construction but I work in the oil sands Mines. Also seen revy get 3 ft of fresh pow and I'm not there to enjoy it sucks. I may be calling it a season to for me. Till then thanks for putting out awesome vids
What i do , sit at home get paid to take care of the kids plus time to ride if we got snow lol if we had your snow , id be out as much as possible ! Lifes to short as well
No beaver tails on that new Trailer, that a pain in the butt having to drop the neck evertime. Thanks for all the content over the winter, can't wait for next season.
Man are ground disturbance laws different out east lol. Sweet vid. I have winters off as well but wife won't let me sled all winter just most of it lol.
