I stopped offering free shipping months back on eBay and Mercari…and I have also been happy. Do NOT regret! I do a flat rate based on type of clothing item. Best decision ever!

I had a sweater returned a while back. They put “defective” because they didn’t know it was 50% wool. The second picture was the tag showing it was 50% wool. I reported them to eBay because material composition is not a defect.

I had a similar fee. it was actually the added buy it now fees on my listings or so they said when I called. I really liked it better to get a break down of fees and top rated seller credits the old way.

Lol I had 2 aggravating returns this week. They claimed it was the wrong size. Ughhh it was clearly marked. One of them said " she must have gained weight".

What happens when someone wants to wrong item described in description. When I got it back it was in pkg I sent them,but their label over mine. Obviously they lied because they changed their mind.
I think we should all charge shipping now. If everyone does it then sales won't slow down as much. The only downside, and its completely fair, is that when we go to buy something online there will likely be shipping outside of Prime. I'm fine with it.
