Also side note. Not sure if you heard but Deanna’s daughter had a company “dot dot smile” selling kids clothes and they are shutting down and the commission checks are bouncing right and left. I saw it on Savannah Marie’s channel. CRAZY!!!! They are now opening some kind of cookie store????

Yeah, I've seen that live video a couple of times now. I don't think they were intentionally trying to hurt people, and if anything, isn't it *good* that there is one less MLM model company out there? But they obviously didn't communicate this in the best way or put their consultants' interests at the forefront.

@@LolaGeek no they really didn’t and apparently only 300 of the 2000 consultants even saw the live video and they didn’t record it but of course it’s out there in the universe now so they can watch it somewhere else lol but def not handled well. Ugh! I feel for those people.

I love your LuLaRoe videos the topics you talk about are so interesting because you really explain things from the prospective of a seller at it's peak like this video and the joining materials etc : )

I sold Paparazzi and I did lives but I live rurally and people didn’t tend to want to drive way out here. I also didn’t want to do events bc we could only have one consultant per event and I kept hearing that these events would book 2 or more and the other person would demand to stay even if they were booked later. I do think moving jewelry is a lot easier but I didn’t even really want to move that LOL. I also was glad I didn’t lose a bunch of money. Now I’m hearing stories of ladies who lost thousands but they bought into the “keep buying more inventory bc you need fresh items coming in all the time” mantra. I bought new items but incorporated them in with the old. I had issues getting paid even by long time friends. It was crazy and I finally got fed up and quit but I don’t think I ever really made any money off it. Then I stupidly joined a diff company called Iris. They supposedly did not have “rules” and Papa had a million rules you could get kicked out for not following. Well I never got kicked out of Papa but I did get kicked out of Iris pretty quickly bc apparently they had unwritten rules I was not following LOL 😆 By the time I got kicked out of that I was fed up with all of it!!! Thx for telling your story. Just bc you didn’t lose thousands doesn’t make your story any less important and people need to understand that you don’t really make money in MLMs unless you somehow make it to the top and it is a TON of work. My business wasn’t even that busy but yes I was attached to my phone all the time and had to message people asking to get paid, eventually some would block me (seriously?? I never forced anyone to order from me or even watch me). Same here with the pics and having to get pics removed. It’s a ton of work. Most people have no idea. I can’t even imagine how many hours you put into it in your two years. Papa is having legal troubles and I can’t say I’m the least bit sorry about it, they lied for years about their nickel and lead free jewelry and it’s coming out now it is actually full of lead. 🙄

I'm sorry if you've already talked about this at some point but I'm really interested in how you handled the quality control issues. I have bought LLR stuff at Goodwill that had really wonky sleeves bc they were only like $2. I can't imagine how I would have felt getting home with something that felt so weird if I had paid the whole price. So what I'm trying to say is I'm wondering if you threw out pieces like that, sold them at a discount, or just tried to sell them regularly. I love your videos and I have been watching since your 1st LLR experience video.

I never really experienced major quality issues - maybe a piece here or there, but we were still able to report them and get a refund pretty easily at that time. They were always saying that if you had something with a seam sewn wrong, for example, you could just stitch it up yourself and sell it 😅 Thanks for watching!

@@LolaGeek In general would the material would the material hold up if you did have to redo a seam? Thanks for talking the time to answer me as well.
@LolaGeek

I guess it depends what the damage was like? I had a pair of leggings that had a hole in the seam because it looked like the serger just missed it and I stitched them up and kept them. But if it was actually torn or there wasn't enough fabric to work with, it would be harder.

i fell in love with LLR around 4 years ago. As a person who loves color & print there is no other company to compare it to. I think they had like 5000 prints at one point, so I heard. Yes some of the prints were as ugly as sin, but some were like works of art! Even through all the scandals & my 2 main retailers quitting, (one was a top seller & she later regretted that she quit), i have continued to purchase through other individuals, both private & LLR consultants, & on the sale links. I only ever had one problem with quality in all my MANY purchases, which was a tiny hole in a pair of leggings, which was probably due to the brushing process they use to make the fabric soft. Yes I have heard all the horror stories about LLR, some quite bizarre, but that has not affected my love for the clothes. New subscriber.

I absolutely love Lularoe. My whole closet is Lularoe. No I do not sell it but I have a friend who does and she is very successful. I buy from her and I even threw out all my "other" clothes that was not Lularoe.
