Damn thank God I live in ohio with no inspections anymore! We did away with them years ago, due to law suites basically proving they’re nearly a tax grab and a con for auto service companies. Old Jeeps would be a nightmare to pass from Colorado to New Jersey!
No I did not for this particular occurrence. You can also visually check your gas cap for damage or any cracks if a check gas cap pops up. In my case, it was fine, but it never hurts to double check as it could be the problem
You got an air bag light or had one on yours? Ive had one since i got mine in may and its just annoying having that light and the tpms light on since the previous owner didnt have the spare tire on the car. I dont wanna take it to my mechanic either just for an airbag light scan. Now the check engine light came on the other day for this stupid emissions bs. I love this car but now all of a sudden shits going south. Locks like to stick when unlocking, remote start doesnt work because of this code, the tick my 3.7 makes. I work on cars almost everyday, i dont like having to fix my car for stupid shit and have to go diagnosing things.
The airbag light comes on for the passenger airbag and it only flashes every once in a while, but very rarely for me. I believe it has to do with weight. Do you put any objects on the passenger car seat when commuting?
Yes, that's correct. I cleared the code with the diagnostics tool after the hose fix, drove around a bit, and the code did not come back. Thanks for watching!
@@lisawhite8355 Do you know whether it's a certain distance that you drive that causes the engine to not start? Or does it not start at all once the engine is hot? I have had a similar problem where it would take 30 mins to an hour for my Jeep WK to start up again, but it only happened when the engine was hot. Never stalled from a cold start. I just want to verify whether you have the same problem or not as I did.
Remington Sandoval It's a possibility to 🤔 But if I ever did that, I'm afraid that they'd get scraped a lot off road lol. In fact, Rocky's wheels right now are all scratched up from the rocks on the trails that she's ran. There's literally minor chips and deep scratches in them (they serve as nice "Jeep scars" though which prove her capability and what she does), but Chrome personally for Rocky would not look good lol XD
Hello! I have a question, on my 2005 Grand Cherokee 3.7 when I connect the OBD-II scanner it says linking error, I checked the pins number 4, 5 and 16 they are ok also the fuses are ok, the ground points are okay, I replace the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor but still not working. Do you know something about how to fix it? Thanks!
