I started my small pet sitting business in 2011. When I was 30. I had no money as I had just been made redundant suddenly for the 2nd time. In the credit crunch financial crisis, no jobs around then and the ones I applied for I either didn't get an interview or someone a bit older and more experienced than me got the job. So I went back to babysitting and then got asked to pet sit for one of those families. My business was hit hard by the pandemic and I just about got through it. I'm still going but it's completely changed and people have cut back on what they will spend on for pet care. I lost a 3rd of my business. As my dog walking side of it completely dropped away as people moved away, got family or neighbours to do it for free or undercutting me. Even though I was at a midrange affordable price for a reason. To make sure that the people with lower budgets could still afford me. I still have pet sitting and per daycare customers and new ones too. Before the pandemic I was close to being able to employ someone to help with pet sitting or dog walking. But now I can't afford to do that incase I don't have enough work to share out. It would be part time for that person but I wanted to be able to give them enough hrs to make it viable for them and me. Now I have had to make hard decisions and turn down work that would take me away from town for too long as I have to keep my cleaning jobs going too.
Girl you are so awesome! I love seeing things like this because I am chronically ill and college or a typical 9-5 job is no longer an option for me. I’m starting up my own business as well and seeing so many other young women in the game is inspiring!
Thank goodness you brought this up! Truly, investing has changed my perspective on how one can succeed in life; working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom and unfortunately, we discover this later in life. Currently earn as much as 10 grand weekly and this has improved my financial life. Great piece!.
Wow, congratulations on your impressive investment success! Your discipline and focus on delayed gratification is truly inspiring. I'm curious, what are some of the key factors that you consider when making investment decisions? Do you have any tips for those of us who are just starting to dip our toes into the world of investing? Thanks for sharing your story!
she's a known advisor. I actually did look her up curiously and went through her credentials on her webbsite... Top-notch! I wrote her an email, hopefully she's accepting new intakes.
There is nothing wrong for having enough income to travel. If I was rich I would have taken my children to travel the world too. I guess if we want the same we could also find ways to have high income instead 😊we can do it too!
This whole video vomits 'humblebrag' tbh. You don't just make a few crappy stickers and 'get a warehouse and employees'. Daddy dearest has funded this while in the meantime she's never had a real job.
There's one thing she doesn't tell us, where she got money to start business, there's only 3 thing. 1. Ask your parents because you born in rich family, 2. Get a job that you thought you gonna collect money but actually it destroys your motivation and just keep working on that job, 3. Born on poor family, wether you just only try your best to sell without starting money or borroww money from bank and get into debt
@@Verona_ackermann No, it’s not. I have multiple friends who started businesses when they were dirt poor. We went to the same school, and now they’re so successful. You just have to try, but having that mentality will only lead to failure.
I've been trying to start mine since I was 12 it's now been like a year and I'm still making stuff before I actually try to make my buisness up and running. It's all hand made so it's kinda hard but I feel I relate to you and I don't know where I can buy but If I figure it out I will
this is so inspiring but i can’t rlly relate bcs i go on multiple vacations a year. but this made me wanna pursue my small business and make ppl feel good, so tysm!!💗
I'm also from the 2000, and i tried the sticker buisness ever since 2022 but i've spent so much time not working on it while being burnt ans trying other jobs but i literally didn't like any of all the jobs i got and that sticker business made me into a street vendor and i got so much joy out of actually selling the things i liked doing and talking to people so now i gotta resume that so i dowbloaded tiktok and started my whole virtual business because i only did face to face sells but now I have the challenge to make my own virtual venture because i can actually do a decent job and people like how my things turn out, truly the worst enemy can be yourself if you let it
I started making bracelets with my friends 2 years ago. We gradually got better and started selling them local. This summer we set up an Etsy account and TikTok. It wasn’t successful so we had to take the Etsy down. The TikTok is up and we are being patient and hoping for the best.
Oh... I don't know the reason why of course but if the reason is money. Maybe try camping with your family or something. I do that every year and it's super fun!
This is such an inspirational story my friend is about to start her own she is 12 btw and I happen you and your business keep growing and if it burns you out feel free to take another little break even if it is only for a month or so
Hi Maddie,so good to hear,I was in the same boat.Where can I buy that gadget you use to print on t shirts? Would love to buy one for myself....please let me know. Keep up with the good job.🎉🎉
Idky so many people are judging her for saying she traveled the world as if it’s her fault she got the opportunity to do so at a young age? Its not her fault her parents are financially able to give her that her story is actually super cute I hope she gets to one day accomplish her childhood dream
The fact that y'all get one vacation a year is the main take-away I have from this video. RIP, man. USA really looked at Bangladesh and other exploited countries and went "how can we get as close to their labor conditions as possible without anyone noticing?"

I have the passion to start my dream business, that I have wanted since I was 13yrs old, but, being disabled and in a wheelchair full-time with only the $1,253 a month i get to live on from Social Security Disability Benefits doesn't leave me ANY wiggle room financially to even know where to begin.
Can i start my own business too? 😗 Because I wanna own a hotel🏨 and restaurant🍴 so that i can service all the people around my area in a cheap manner ☺ So ✨ Can u help me🙏? 😇
