Thank you a TON for this video!!! I'm 58 years old and started Keto nearly 3 years ago at 477lbs. I've had great results! (I've lost 210lbs and eliminated T2D as well as normalize my blood pressure) I do less than 20g total carbs/day, less than 7g/meal as a rule. I most often don't get anywhere near my limits. The month before last, my wife tested positive for covid (no symptoms and I was negative) so we were quarantined for about a month and I swear to you I've lost my flippin' mind! We just threw the whole thing out the window! Didn't gain a whole lot of weight back but the inflammation (I have rheumatoid arthritis) is beating the crap out of me. So now working my way back into the keto life. I say all this to encourage anyone reading this after watching this video to just get back at it!! If you fall then you fall. Remember what works well and why and get back at it! Thanks again for the video! Very encouraging to me!!!
What a great comment! I love reading about people that succeed over and over like you! It warms my heart that simple nutrition is so beneficial to health! Congratulations!!!
Agree 100 %!!! I'm constantly around people that do not think like me, or that think keto is some sort of horrid torture. I'm steadfast for my health because I know how I feel on and off keto. It's literally changed my life for the better! I've also stuck to my weight training since I was 18 (about to turn 50 now) and the only thing that has changed is my knowledge of it. That is my ME time! Great video Robert. Absolutely LOVE this series! Happy Turkey (and Ham) Day!!!
Thank you so much! This is by far the best advice on mindset I've ever heard in regards to keto....and I gotta say I have this exact mindset and belief as well! I just need to be more diligent in regards to keto treats even at gatherings because Although nice to indulge it really it not worth it (for me) and thankfully I have family/friends who love me regardless so that was a great point you made about relationships! Is it ok I share this to any clients I have struggling with being in track and consistent? I often say a lot of these points to people, but this is a video jam packed with all the great advice in one place! 😀
Love your philosophy Robert! It is an inspiration to me to keep going with clean strict keto. It’s not a diet - it’s the healthiest lifestyle for most. Thank you for your insight.
Thanks for the great video.. Why do some guys say you should go in an out of keto every few months??? As it’s not healthy to stay in Ketosis for a long time?? When I hear these things it scares me an makes me think about quitting...
Oh thanks! We have a company called Keto Brick which is a ketogenic meal replacement. We have many flavors of which chocolate malt is one :) You can check them out at www.ketobrick.com

I’ve been strict keto for more than a week. I’m starting to already feel and see a good difference in my body. Keto flu is hitting hard as fuck lol This is my third shot at keto. Gave in other times, my mistake lol long stories. But not this time. Keto is amazing. Can’t wait till keto flu passes. I’m starting to slowly bring in exercise. Just starting out running and doing light strength training. Then I will increase. Love keto.
