Do you sacrifice a lot of EV when you simplify the betting sizes on the flop? Do you ever nodelock flop or just turn and river for the population tendencies? Do you consider equity realization? Overall great content!

You are actually only sacrificing EV if you are able to play the more complex strategy at an = level of precision. If you have a complex flop strategy, not only is the flop very difficult to play accurately, but it exponentially increases the difficulty to play the rest of the game tree accurately as well. Therefore as as long as the complex and simple strategies are reasonably close in EV in the solver, I think it is likely that you are actually increasing your EV in the game tree because of how much more accurately you are able to play it. I will sometimes nodelock turn and river when I am looking for exploitative plays for a specific turn or river. It would be incredibly time consuming to nodelock a population tendency across all turns or all rivers so I do not ever do that. It is easy to just run the aggregation reports and compare those numbers to what you see in the population and think about logical and simple adjustments. Equity realization is already considered in the solver, but I do think about it exploitatively as well. For example, if people are playing much more passively on the turn than the solver is, I can float a lot more on the flop than the equilibrium solution.

100 bucks for gto+ is reasonable , gto plus has a trainer in it, this doesnt solve the preflop solve problem though. And what is lucid gto ? Is that any different from snowie or, simple trainer? or the one thats in gto plus?

I think GTO+ is great for studying one hand at a time and a nice entry to learning GTO for the price. I haven't used it much personally so I am not sure of it's limitations compared to other, more expensive programs though. I don't really know anything about lucid GTO. I do not like snowie very much. I disagreed with a lot of the strategies it recommended (so did PIO). However, I have heard there are several winning players at 100 and 200 nl who use it so if you do like it, it is probably okay. Simple trainer is the program I am most familiar with so I am biased towards that and I like the fact that I can use my own sims.

Do you need the Pro version of Pio to create sims for Simple GTO? Can you only create sims from the scripting function or can Pio Basic create sims?

I have only ever used the Pro version so I am not sure if the Basic will work or not. I recommend emailing the PIO creators to see how well Basic does with sims. If you are looking for a cheaper option though, the creators of Simple GTO have their own solver that works very well.

If this is 99%, has coaching videos faded out of the routine?

Kar Yung Tom I don’t watch coaching videos very often these days. I do watch sometimes before a session in order to get my mind focused on poker. If a theory video comes out on a topic I hadn’t thought of before I will watch that as well.

sooo what will happen when everybody will study exactly the same thing , what edge would anyone have???From my point of view this idiotic programs make poker worse then it is , the fun and the propose of the game goes out of the window. In 10 yrs there will be no online poker cause of this idiotics programs, the ppl that make this programs makes lots of money from selling them dont give a fk about how zero edge this game will become.

Only about 1% of the poker population is actually willing to put in the 100s of hours of study it would take to be able to get close to even simplified versions of the poker game tree using software like this. But, lets say everyone is able to get it perfect with 1 bet size flop, 2 turn, 2 river. If all you do is master 2 bet sizes on the flop and all the variations that come with that, then you would be crushing everyone else. So, as players become great at one level of complexity, you should always be working on the next level higher. Again, remember that it is still only a very small % of people actually even doing that though. I can tell you with certainty, that even the guys that totally crush most stakes are making mistakes all the time and we are very far from zero edge poker.

@@WowPokerDoes this GTO concept without any adjust for villain tendencies make enough bb/100h to make up for the rake? If say at NL100? Do you only adjust vs fish and nits? Or never adjust? What limit do you play? 😊
