How I Style My Super Short TWA 

I just did the big chop 1 month ago because of chemically damaged hair and I have been stressing over it since to the point of losing sleep. I just tried this and it turned out beautiful on my kinky 4c hair. I plan on wearing my hair like this for at least a month until it grows longer. Thanks for getting me over the hump!

I LOVE using my Vaseline. They say that Vaseline is not good but I don't care!! It works for me n my hair loves it. I am from the Caribbean I grew up with Vaseline n Castor oil in my hair. It makes it soft n helps your curls. Happy that u use it

Hey, I'm also in Japan and I'll recommend you buying the Xtreme Gel from Daiso its only 100 Yen. It works great for afro texture hair, no need for a lot of work getting your hair laid and its great for defining curls as well.

cute, cute cute hair! cute, cute, cute face. My husband is afraid of me cutting off my ends while my hair is about this short. Started going natural in May. I don't now how to gauge the length, but I am excited about my hair as it is growing. I cut the ends but when I told my husband I wanted to cut it all off - he was like I don't know about that. I think it's just that as a culture, men are very very influenced by what is out there. To have your wife go from gorgeous bouncy European type hair styles to natural is a bit much to ask of a traditional American male. Some of them, not all. We have to be considerate of their likes and wants while also allowing ourselves to grow and become our best most beautiful selves - inside and out. Thanks for the vid. Loved it!

Look how beautiful you are! Your hair is so cute & so becoming on you. People will tell you not to use certain things because they're bad but you have to use what works for you. If you're not in the US, you may be limited as to what products are available. I use a wide range of products from expensive to cheap & my hair is in great shape, moisturized, soft & grows just fine. Glad to see your progress & that you're happier.

You're so gorgeous. I had a serious mishap that lead to the middle portion of my hair completely dropping out. I am almost certain its from putting alter ego drops in the middle of my head like 2 times a day right after getting a relaxer. I cried like a bitch when I realized that I have bald spots. I have to admit, I'm really into my appearance, so I took it pretty hard. Right now I have in box braids praying that it will help my hair to catch up. Now I'm realizing that I need to take Better care of my hair. So from now on no more relaxers, I'm going natural honey. I'm chopping it all off. I got so much inspiration from watching you. Instead of vaseline, try 100% extra virgin coconut oil. If you run the jar under some hot water, it melts to liquid, and it's amazing for moisture and works well on my locs.

My hair isn't that short anymore, bout shoulder length/ longer now and definitely smaller coils/curls than yours (4c) but you're the only other person I know that knows about the vaseline trick like, I be telling ppl and they look at me crazy, for a pony tail or top puff to slick down all them hairs and make it wavy vaseline is THE BEST. I thank my mama for telling me about it.

It's a really nice cut, I want to cut my hair like that but I'm afraid of what people will think when they see me, I know you shouldn't think about what other people think about what you look like what your hair looks like and I really want to cut it but people judge and they judge hardddd.I guess I'm learning to do things for myself and for no one else.
