Thankyou for sharing your story - there will be a pregnant teenager or a parent of a pregnant teenager that will watch this and benefit so much from your advice. Just to feel that they're not alone and someone else has experienced what they are experiencing. I was a teen mum also. I wish i had parents as supportive as yours are - they are awesome ❤

Your an amazing mom. I was also a teen mom. I was pregnant at 15 emancipated by 16 and raised my daughter alone for her first year. I’m still very happy about my decision to mother her and not put her up for adoption. I’m not sure if I could have done it. This summer she will be 40 years old and has grown into a wonderful woman, mother and is raising her 3 kids alone. She has her own color hair salon in organ. Makes me very proud of her and my decision.

Same here. I was 16. My parents didn't give me a choice. They had 2 couples set to take my baby 😢Which only made me rebell. I moved 7 hours away with the babies daddy and his father and stepmother , I was promised full support and whatever we needed. Until one night , I heard the step mother saying she couldn't wait to take my baby and finally become a mother. I immediately begged my parents to get me a bus back home. I left my baby daddy and he promised to meet me back in our home town soon and we could get married and raise our son. He never came. Adoption wasn't discussed anymore in my home with my parents. I had my son and my mom was a huge help the first few months. She was only 36. However I met someone while still pregnant. I began an intimate relationship and got pregnant when my baby was only 11 weeks old. My dad kicked me out. I was emancipated. Alone living in sqallor with mice and cockroaches. No car, tv, phone. In the worst part of town. My first baby daddy went Ghost. My 2nd BD left me when I was 8 months pregnant in the middle of the night. My dad got me into a better part of town and got me a beater car. My 2nd BD took my daughter away from me While living with me I woke to police knocking on my door. And HIS mom and I was handed papers. The papers said temp custody. And if I didn't do anything within a certain amount of time it would be full custody. He moved back in with me so I didn't do anything. I ended up breaking things off with him we were engaged but he cheated. I met someone in another state. I knew I needed to leave that town. A really nice man. Took me and my son in. He was a godsend. 28 years later I'm still married to him.

You can see the support your parents give you from this video!! You are truly blessed to have them, and it warms my heart and also brings sadness at the same time. I did not have that type of support growing up, or even as an adult. My friends are my support now, and I consider them family. Your parents are super sweet, and I’m glad you recognize how blessed you are.

You're amazing. And as I told you in the last video, our pregnancy story was the same and w.e. else I said was similar besides our age, but the only thing different was that you had your amazing parents as support. The only support I feel like I really had was from my 3 year old (at the time) son. I'm so happy that they and everyone was so supportive of you. My mom was there for me, but not really. Like you, I was up most of my pregnancy at night crying but she wasn't there nor anyone else for that matter for me. There was a point in my pregnancy, that because I was really sick from the "morning" sickness, that I just stayed in my room, cried, watched TV, and locked my phone in a safe because I just couldn't take life anymore at that point. My son and the baby inside, my daughter, were literally the only reason at those moments that kept me going. Things got better now that she's about to be 3 soon, but my mom and my relationship isn't really there and most times, she belittles my parenting. I don't gain a lot of money from the job I work so it's not like I can move out but I'm thankful that I have a loving boyfriend (he's currently deployed), that when he gets back, we'll be moving in together. Together, we have 4 kids and I couldn't be more blessed. I just ask if you can pray for me and my mental health because my job is mentally exhausting and living with my mom is too and some days, I just feel like I want to give up but I keep going for my kids, boyfriend and his kids. Thank you for listening! And sorry for this being so long and I love you so very much!! Stay awesome! 💜💜💜💜

Thank you Izzy (and your parents) for sharing your story! I'm gonna tell you the honest truth. At first when I saw you in a video over at the Nelson familys channel, I was very shamefully and judgementally thinking you were stupid for getting pregnant so young... I was thinking to myself, "Why does a kid from such a religious family end up with a girl like THAT?" OH BOY was I the stupid one!! I'm thankful I didn't listen too much to that first mean thoughts I had. Instead i learned that you are, and were even at 17, such a mature and intelligent young lady. You are strong, brave, an amazing role model to younger girls, and an inspiration to all of us. I am sorry for being so wrong about you at first, and even though I never said anything mean to anyone, I'm sincerely regretful that I had such mean thoughts about you!

But they should also focus on their studies & Health...

My sister ended up becoming pregnant at age fourteen, and my parents found out because she would take so much food into her room and they went to pick the food up when they were, they found all SEVEN of her pregnancy tests and they were all positive. They were super supported and now she’s 24, I think, idk i have like seven siblings, and she has five kids.

You’ve done a wonderful job raising Jonah and I’m so glad you were able to keep him. If you had made the decision to terminate your parental rights do you think his biological father or family would have stepped in .

This was just in my recommended videos, but I had my eldest son at 17. My mother actually knew I was pregnant before me at a dr's appt. I was there to have a CT scan, and she just had this feeling, saying not to give me the test because I was pregnant. I was furious and embarrassed because I did not think I was pregnant. I was on the pill (but took an antibiotic with it, which reduced effectiveness). I thought I had my cycle two weeks prior, but having very light cycles normally, I thought the implantation bleeding I had was my cycle. They tested me, and I was pregnant. Mom just knew & thank God she said something. I graduated high school and worked through college and law school, meeting and marrying the best husband and father I ever could wish for, happily married for 23 years until he passed away when in our 40s. It's never an ideal way to start, but if you work hard, it can work out and be a wonderful life.

Izzy thank you so much for not looking at abortion as an option. Its important for everyone to know that even if they cannot raise their child, someone else out there can and that their child's life is worth the pain
