How do I even go about getting tested for this? My doctor just tells me my symptoms are fake and to go see a shrink. I can’t even get a referral to a neurologist. I’ve been losing motor skills and I’m losing my ability to stand up or sit up unaided. I’m also in severe pain. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I have no life and I can’t leave my house anymore. I’ve spent the past 19 years in bed almost 24/7. I’m having bladder issues, tremors, and losing speech as well. Anybody got any ideas?
Um, my opinion is yes about marriage, but the same rules apply as anyone else in a relationship. Obstacles will always happen whether you have a “condition” or not. You and your significant other have to be a team otherwise it’s never going to work. Both have to know when to lead and when to follow. Always have respect and support for one another. I'm 38. I was diagnosed when I was 18. I was very athletic when I was young. It was shocking to me and my fam. It has slowly progressed on me. In 2010, 2013, & 2014 I fell and fractured my legs. My last fracture in 2014 was my tibia. That really got me good I can't no longer walk without assistance. Too many fractures can take a toll on your leg muscles and your balance. So be careful buddy and get strong.
Israelite Daggerz I’m sorry to hear about all of your fractures. I use a cane or forearm crutches to get around in the house or small stores (shopping carts work well too, like a walker). I did fall a couple days ago, I was stuck on the ground till I could call someone to come help me get up. Banged my knee up good and stretched my tendons in my knees too. I shake it off the best I can and just keep punching. Hope all is well with you, have faith and keep believing, this is only a test.
Hey guys and girl :P: im diagnosed since early childhood. i began to struggle severly since age 22, im now 32 years of age. i can still get up and walk on my own etc. if i want, i could probably run like 10 meters without falling.... My question is: At what age does it get so sever to use crutches etc?
