It started out great and then by the time you got to the features at the end it was rushed and you stopped showing how to find them in the app and it became more about what features does the app have than how to use them.
Hi, How can I set a reminder to call somebody..?? Basically by linking the contact of that person from my contacts..... Integration of phone contact with TickTick...??
4 minutes to start? Damn man, please make shorter intros I just want to know how to use the app that's kinda frustrating 😞 ... Or use timestamps that could be a good compromise
Is there a way to connect the task/todo in Eisenhower matrix to list? I like to do a kanban board and see what I have in progress but find myself writing in the matrix, then writing the same thing in task list so that I can use the kanban board
I highly recommend 4k60fps, dunno if it's because I've been watching a lot of videos with this quality recently, but it was the first thing I noticed and feel it could add to the quality.
Is it possible to set a notification for one task both based on the position and the time as well as an insurance, when the task can be completed at the latest, if I do not arrive in the area? So the notification would pop up depending on what happened sooner, location or the time?
I just opened my app to check this and it works. 👍 I set a location for a task and a due date of a time tomorrow. The location acts as a reminder. I was also able to add extra reminders to the task on top of that. There's a lot of flexibility to meet individual needs.
My question with electronic format compared with paper: how do you assign a task that needs to be done over the course of the week? Digital formats require a specific day. On paper, it is visible to me throughout the week. Thank you!
Luckily in Ticktick you can set that as a task that spans multiple days, or a recurring task. But I would argue that if something takes multiple days, that isn't a task, it's a project with subtasks.
@@PropaneFitness thank you! There are many tasks each week that will need to happen that week, but not on a particular day. I still don't quite see how this is represented in Ticktick, short of just repeating a task on each day for that week.
Great video! Appreciate all the points, shortcuts, and the emphasis on making your productive system work for you. I have watched so many productivity app videos that it definitely feels like I am going down a rabbit hole haha. Also I haven't heard of David Allen's Mind Sweep Method before so I'll give that a look! Thank you for making and sharing this insightful video :)
When I choose the daily repetition of the task, why does it automatically duplicate the task on the second day? For example, I have a math project in the form of a task on this day. I run a pomodoro on this task on this day. The next day, I do the same process, which is running a pomodoro like the day before, and the bad thing that happens is that the application calculates the pomodoro on the duplicate task and not the task that I did yesterday, so storing the pomodoro is on more than one task that was automatically copied and not the main task. I want the topic to be like a routine of habits, the habit is repeated daily with the same habit and not a duplicate habit. I hope you respond to me
When adding a task in Inbox, it does not pick up date nor time, and it's not added automatically to my calendar. Do I need to add a feature to do this? I already have a premium.
how do you change colors on the calendar? And funny thing.. I'm using the app on windows, ipad and iphone and the colors in the calendar are different in all three. grrr.
Saw the Xmas special with Chris and was inspired by your enthusiasm for the app. So I immediately downloaded and started to use it. But I have a question about usability when offline. I am in the US Coast Guard on a ship and spend months at sea. The office suite available to us does not have a good productivity app and want to use my phone and tablet while underway to manage my work. Will TickTick still work without cell service? Thank you.
I almost clicked off at the 1 min mark, the weird AI generated cartoon story was a bit much. At the 5 min mark I seen what I was looking for and ready to download. When I reached the end I realize how lucky I was to come across your video. Its filled full of great nuggets to get back in control and improve habits and to ultimately get things done. Big thank you !
Question. I work at an university, and we use Outlook calendars to keep eachother updated on what we're doing, and I can't ask my organization to change that. Is there a way to have my Outlook calendar mirror my TickTick? And if so, how do I control what's shared and what isn't?
I genuinely love this video so much that I have to comment on it! I used to try overcomplicate things and neglect ticktick afterwards due to the overwhelming feeling. Thanks a bunch!
Great video, one question, though: Do you know that women exist? ;) "I´ve got bros in every town", "if you are more of an analogue boy"... would appreaciate being adressed as well (not to forget non-binary folks)
