@@rmlgaming2091 Sonix, Sparg0, MKLeo, etc. They literally all had massive momentum going into top 6. That’s what made this tournament so interesting. Tweek just had that perfect combo of momentum, confidence, and on point gameplay.

The seph is a great secondary for weird matchups like ice climbers or Kazuya.

He will definitely need Seph for some matchups or when the diddy is not working.

@@soul8460 acola has attended 4 tournaments with Spargo and tweek, and he's outplaced both of them at 3 of those tournaments. He's also won more than twice as many majors as either of them in the past 12 months. He's outplaced Leo at 2/3 of their common tournaments. He also has better head to heads against the top 10. Acola is clearly #1.

@@dingo9696 I don’t necessarily agree but I think that the argument can be made absolutely. I’m kinda waiting to see how the year plays out. I think it’s a little up in the air since Leo isn’t doing as well, Tweek and Sparg0 are trading majors but it’s true that Acola has a winning record on them both I believe. If he beats them again or vice versa I think that’s who the best in the world is at this moment in time. Leo might also just go to another stacked major and not drop a single set again. The title is up for grabs for sure

@@yarn_boy the race for #1 in 2023 has a lot of candidates, for sure. But for 2022 it's clearly acola when you look at the common tournaments and h2hs between him and the other frontrunners.

@@BigBootyBatman Design wise I could see it. Half of his moves are just a variation of spin dash. That said, I still think he’s more fun to fight then diddy. I’ll give diddy credit though, I think the sound design and stuff like that on his moves is pretty neat. It fits him well

I love diddy Kong so much, but diddy is the same as characters like snake and fox, top tiers because if they play right, they only have about 6 losing matchups but they’re matchups are all super even or barely winning
