I’m 50 next week 😮 and doing a masters, Francis has steadied me, I’ve done 2 essays so far without any clue of how to structure got 2 2.1´s, I can see now having watched his videos where I’m not signposting or linking back strongly enough to the title, just started my third essay using Francis advice I’m hoping this one will go better for me

Don't be ashamed!! I think writing essays is a continuous journey as long as you're a student. I've written my fair share of really good essays and really bad essays, and I noticed I always lack a structure and when I am lucky enough that my essay is well-structured then I get a good grade. If not, then I am completely lost. This video is very useful to learn how to develop and stick to a consistent structure for essays so really no need to be ashamed that we are on youtube watching such videos hahahah. It's always a good thing to learn even if it seems basic. Good luck with your studies.
@@ahappyfrenchtoast2669 You made the mistake of explaining that you are good at something, so here comes a question: 13 minutes and 33 seconds into the video he explains his "Explanation". This is what confuses me, because one is told that all claims should have a reference, but he has far reaching claims based on the evidence on Trump. For example saying "... making the information appear reliable". Should a statement like that not come with a source? Or simply asked: how far can one go with claims in an analysis/explanation sentence without needing to back it up with a source? Thank you.

Why does this video have only 22k views? It deserves at least 100k. Thank you. I am a university student who has written my fair share of bad and good essays. My grades aren't consistent but I was really lucky this semester that I got a first in all of my essays. However, last semester I wrote really bad essays. I notice that I have been very inconsistent. If I'm lucky enough to make sense of a good structure, then I get good grades. If I don't, welp, goodbye. Looking on how to develop and stick to a consistent structure for my future essays even though I only have 6 courses left hahaha. This video is fantastic!
