What I don't understand is why are they doing this? Is there some angle the NCAA is working here, so they won't have to let the players in on the real TV money, or as some sort of sop to the schools so they won't bolt from the NCAA altogether? Why did the NCAA do this? What do they stand to gain, what was their motivation?
Way too many for football… it pisses me off that they create all these rules to cater to the few schools with all the money. There are 134 schools not 20.
The irony of each Power 5 school getting $millions$ more than ever before and then discussing the elimination of sports. Also irony watching kids born in USA going to US Universities for free competing in Olympics for other countries. Love the Pahd and 747 was robbed.
