Great video Ira! It sounds like an excellent time to be in real estate. If and when I do buy a home in Florida it'll be with you. Reason why? The time I saw you power washing the driveway of a villa you listed I knew you had your customers best interest at heart.
The housing market is insane in Ocala. We had a friend list their house in On Top of The World (they are building a larger house in the same area) and they had multiple offers on the first day. Thanks for a very informative video!
You mentioned in the beginning of the video that you think the bubble is going to burst. When do you think that it will burst and under what circumstances?
Good question. I would like to know Ira's opinion on timing of this. From what I have heard the market is strong in much of the U.S....even suburban Chicago where I live.
I would say on average that a new home would cost roughly $150 per square foot. But for preowned homes, it's really impossible to give an average that would mean anything, do to the wide range of different communities and areas in Central Florida.
(Suzie) Hi Ira! I'm the lady from Texas with the horses...we've talked before. Quick question..when you do get into the sales office of The Villages to pick a home and start the process...does that 'lock' in the price, or can it go up during the process?
Hi Suzie, Once you've picked your lot and upgrades etc. with them, at that point they will give you the final number.. If you accept that and go under contract the price will not change.
