I got the Steeldive 1953. Was going to use as a beater while I save for a Steinhart, and Rolex Submariner. It’s ridiculously good, comparable to SEIKO/Citizen watches so I find it hard to use as a beater. I love the Miyota 2115, it’s in my Casio Tiffany Blue and Duro, accurate and reliable. Gotta get one of the Addiesdives for a daily work/beater watch. 👌🏼
Great looking watch. For water proofing you can just change the seal if it’s not present already and pressure test it, here in Philippines where I stay now this procedure cost 8$ and imo well worth it.
I've got an Addirsdive Tuna and love their value for money ... essentially the same as Steeldive (of which I have two - Captn. Willard homage and Bronze fifty-fathoms homage which I am wearing now).
I bought one last November and I love it. I've been modding it a little, brushed the bracelet and change the clasp. Maybe I would change the hands and the crystal too, for practice.
I just got the newer white dial version of this watch with the 300m wr snd your review was spot on. A ton of watch for the money. I also agree that the main down side is the small handset. Also i like that your model (the older model) has green lume on the handset snd cool blue on the bezel. Mine has cool blue on both!
Bought 1 6mths ago. Think it looked amazing for the price. So impressed, I bought a Seiko powered addiesdive for my father. Just bought Yatch Master version. Waiting for its arrival.
I have this in the colors, and several other addies and steel dive watches. I find the quality to be fairly nice. Great value for the money. Excellent specs for what's spent. Etc. ....
just recieved mine Kermit version and yess I was blown away by the lume and the bezel, I plan to upgrade the bracelet and buy the Blue one as well. I think for my 6.5inch wrist 41mm is the max size that has nice wrist present. I cant figure out how these guys make money with such a low price
Hello. Liked the video review. What is the weight of the watch? I had a watch weight of 156g, removed three links and the weight became 143g, you have written 140g. Just how many links did you take off? Or your watch weighs 140g without removing the links. Thank you in advance.
Yes. Remove the dial and the hands. Pay 3 bucks for a set of hands and 10 for the dial. I think also replace the lumed bezel with a 15 buck one. Make sure you ask for garbage and go for it. The watch is still worth it.
"I doubt any watch can come close to this one for $40, if you find it, let me know" The Addiesdive in the video looks nice, but it id definitely not the best offer out there. I got the 2024 LIGE 6801 for $35 which has automatic mechanical movement (not battery driven) and better than this in the video.
