With an average household bringing in 40,000 USD in the 70s. That's like 160,000 USD in today's money. With Gaddafi in power, education was free, healthcare was free, electricity was free. You would get 50,000 if you got married to buy an apartment. If you wanted to become a farmer you got free land. Now look at Libya, thanks to NATO. Not Islam. Because Libya a mostly Muslim country was the safest and richest country in Africa, richer than all the other Christian countries there...
