NEW BUCK KNIVES COLLABORATION!
nicksboots.com...
This boot pairs the ruggedness of two PNW classics, Buck + Nicks. These boots are made with all of our staples: Durability, craftsmanship and quality USA materials and manufacturing. We are proud to be working with buck knives and added with every purchase a Buck 110 included in the price! For this collaboration we added a knife pouch to the ankle of the production boot designed around the Buck 110, an instantly recognizable knife coincidentally released in 1964! Our founding year. Hop on this collaboration as soon as possible, there is a limited amount, and thank you for your support.

Love the use of a Bic lighter, to keep the thread ends from fraying!! Old school trick, that Dad showed me on nylon rope, years ago!! Nice boots!

Very cool touch on a great looking boot. Next time maybe an integrated holster for a small 9 mm hand gun. Like a Kimber Micro 9.

I second this notion. Perhaps fitting and proper support for a Bond Arms Stinger RS or North American Arms NAA-SWC or NAA-22MSC-P is of high interest.

Always there when you need it. Genius! I do agree a snap flap might ease concerns of loosing your multi tool or buck knife.

Good looking boots. Is that available with a flap top with a snap closure to keep from losing my knife?
@jlg395

No, but it is available with sock liners that will delaminate and peel off within ten to fifteen wears.

Modified a pair of boots about 40 years ago lost my knife somewhere in the woods it must of gotten pushed out of the pocket sheath it was so tight it's hard to believe but it was gone so I put a flap on it . And have done the same with all boots since and the same knife has made all boot transitions. At first I tried inside the but nope not comfortable at all.

Just curious, does anyone know the purpose of the rubber slip sole between the leather midsole and the outsole?
@papaspeleo
@papaspeleo Год назад
They mention it in one of their videos. I thought it had to do with extra waterproofing.
@calbreeze5990
@calbreeze5990 Год назад
Pretty sure it’s because rubber sticks to rubber better than leather (maybe just one reason though)
@mad0uche
@mad0uche Год назад
the purpose of it is so when the two materials rub against eachother the boots don't squeak
@TomorrowNeverKnows...

time to show my ocd: hold up your pointer finger. anything longer & wider than that is useless for a knife. I once butchered a cow with a Case Peanut. also, why put the sheath on your boot?

The knife pouch needs a rolled edge to keep it's shape, along with a snap strap to keep the knife from falling out... It just Doesn't match the high quality craftsmanship of the entire boot... Looks like my uncle Charlie decided to sew on a side pouch over the weekend.... Sorry guys...

@@Infamousjr719 If someone professionally (paid to do a job) paints your car, and you touch the surface of your hood and it's bumpy full of orange peel, you don't need to be an expert to call a spade a spade, a bad job is a bad job, you don't need to be a vet to know a limping dog with a broken leg has a broken leg, you understand what i'm saying boy?
@KeenerSeedling

nah boots leather laces have this tight at the top of the boot. knife is going to be held firmly in place on your calf
@Infamousjr719
@Infamousjr719 Год назад
@@mad0uche there is a difference between an expert and a professional. You should read a book and touch grass once in a while. It’s pretty obvious you have no clue in the quality and craftsmanship nicks puts into every piece they make. FYI a limping dog does not equate to a dog with a broken leg. You’re just too lazy to investigate further. You might find a thorn in the dogs paw. You’ve got big incel energy lmao.

I have a similar logger boots and saddle stitched a knife sheath from rose anvil. I have a 3 inch folder on there. I rode motorcycle and even ran with my boots. The knife haven’t moved an inch even if the leather sheath is all stretched out due to my knife being in and out of it.

While I find the boot making skills awesome, carrying a buck knife in your boot would get you arrested for carrying a deadly weapon in most European countries, where knife carrying is illegal...
