Very helpful. I've made two rings from damascus steel. One with lapis inlay and another without inlay. I have some carbon fiber lying around. By tomorrow I'll have third ring.

Hi...can you use regular carbide tools to machine the carbon fiber?

Yes you can! Carbide tools work really well on the carbon fiber. The sharpness will go quick though. If you have them, it will make it easy!

Is it possible to inlay a full opal? Not crushed, like a solitaire or something?
