John C. McGinley has been in many a classic film over the years, including a memorable turn as one of "the two Bobs" in Office Space. Hear how he landed the gig. (10/3/17)
What a great character actor. He nails every performance, often ridiculously crazy characters, with a special something I can't,even put m finger on. Every single character I have seen him take on has been wonderful.
Bob Slidell was one of my favorite characters in Office Space - he made me laugh out loud, and what a perfect name for a consultant brought in to a company (Mike Judge on that one).
What's weird is that even though it was a short segment in the movie, it really stands out in my mind, looking back. It wasn't just some throw-away characters that you would forget about.
Well, if you have ever been on a set with him, you’d be Greatly disappointed. One of those nasty actors who thinks he’s better then pretty much everybody else. Yelled at extras and was a complete jerk. Not far from the character he played on scrubs.
It was a brilliant movie, but marketing it as "from the creator of Beavis and Butthead" was a bad idea since the teenage MTV crowd wasn't the target audience.
The pace of office space threw me off and I hated it the first time I watched it,....... then I started thinking about the scenes and had to watch it again ........ and a few dozen more times
