Yea I met some of the Charlotte fgc at all the fall classics. You guys and the Raleigh scene are my main rivals in state, I got mad love for all my NC players doing their thing. Me and my roommate are make up the entire Wilmington scene, we been working alot during this pandemic times to level up for next time.

Yessss... Love that you guys are giving this game the love it deserves. We haven't had online play since OG Xbox servers went down (PS3 did not have online play like MVC2). So it's way overdue!
So true I still own it Since mid 2000s. But Justin Wong is not the Goat of every Era. That's like listening to LeBron James saying he's goat. I think Justin is a good person and great player. But saying he's the Goat is so disrespectful to other gamers that came before him.

Man, Dreamcast games got rollback before DBFZ did, that really stings. Also, I really wish CVSNK2 would make a comeback in a remake or a remaster. Also, also, CAPCOM vs SNK 3 needs to happen.

His roster videos are really hype, I honestly don't know why it's not on eventhubs or any other fighting game specialized website, haha
I'd love flycast to have both the normal CVS2 and a version patched with the EO changes and see how different the meta would be between the two versions.
I couldn't get roll cancel to work more than once or twice. And I have trouble moving past it and just focusing on the game lol. It's so much fun though. Probably my favorite of the classics.
God I wish I knew how to roll cancel. I have tried forever to get it and i don't think i've ever gotten it. I think this game is so cool but i can't do one of the most important things in it to save my life

@@hakageryu307 well, yeah. Can't agree with every single choice other people make, right? There's always going to be some tiny little thing that'll make others dislike the video o anything. Guess I would change a couple of things but I definitely wouldn't say his video sucked
CvS1 was close except it was 4 buttons and had some wonky character choices (like ex terry having no rising taco or fireball) But CvS2 nailed it with 6 buttons, good character picks, more characters, myriad meter variations, and the ratio system. The only thing I fault it on is some of the sprites are jank. I wish they all got the SVC chaos makeover. I dig the kof sprite work, even the crude kof sprites look better to me than the sloppier capcom ones.

I don't remember CVS2 being this polite and friendly in the arcade. I remember bear fist fights breaking out. A lot of shouting arguments and people stomping out of the house too.
tfw you just ram your opponent's head through the CvS2 cabinet after losing to him good times, good times............ if you want to resolve your anger issues go to a psychiatrist or something, don't play video games
I'd kill for anew CvS game. This game always seemed incredibly cool, but it is very, very inaccessible to a newcomer like me since it doesn't have most of the modern stuff that helps me actually play these games (better inputs buffers especially).

But how about other years with Daigo the beast or Alex. In 90s and early 2000s U had a big fat black gamer tough guy un Marvel vs Capcom 2 Arcade. Then theres my brothers the solis and friends. They all were very good and beat so mamy in the midwest. Oh yeah then there was me the Show stopper. I was undefeated for many years in some of those years. Mid 90s and late 90s come on. In those years it was my era. I was considered the goat of that small era. Solis era. You couldn't defeat all of us. Oh yeah & the real best. Goat of 91 to 94 tomo. He was the goat of those years. Undisputed and undefeated for decades. That's history u should learn first.
That’s the point the realism are the characters drawn by snk artists and the cartoony is done by capcom that’s why depending the grove you select is how they come out.
