When you open the crates or fridge. We had to use sanitary cloths. All so the original breading is , 10scopes alternative them. 5 scope and 5 lifts. Also they were to top sture 3 times. Gloves to drop the basket. But nice job one the less.
I love a burger with a lot of lettuce and onion ring. Garlic Mayo, mustard and thousand islands. I marinate my chicken with buttermilk and 11 spices keep it overnight, for the coating I use all-purpose flour, corn flour add a bit of the 11 spices mix it together, Then I deep fry it. It comes out crispy and yummy.
You can’t sterilize your hands by washing with soap and water. The best you can do is wash with Betadine or Hibiclens. We used this in the PEU (protective Environment Unit) in ICU where I worked. We had to don a mask first then do a 30 count scrub using betadine or hibiclens to do a 30 count scrub at the beginning of our shift and a 15 count scrub prior to donning a sterile cap, gown, booties and gloving up before entering our sterile LAFR patient rooms. A 30 count scrub means using a scrub brush with the Betadine or Hibiclens and scrubbing counting 30 times, each finger, palm, top of hands, the first third of our arms, then the 2nd then last 3rd of each arm, then drying with a sterile towel. Sterilization is done using very high heat or using gases in CPD,the central processing department. You are correct about washing hands then contaminating them by touching handles, crates, etc. it just undoes all the washing of hands, once you touch germ laden equipment. I studied contamination as a nursing student and am an RN with 9 yrs experience in this particular ICU and the operating room.
This is a really good video. I have watched many KFC videos trying to learn the "secret(s)" of making KFC and this video seems to be very thorough. I don't think they missed a single step.
No, it’s not. Just because Ramsey doesn’t wear gloves should no one else? I’ve seen videos where vendors make street food with no soap and water to wash up and no gloves. Just because they do it, does that mean everyone should follow their lead? They sell food to people, which is not cool. These kids submerge their hands and forearms into the flour and mix up the chicken to coat. Men’s arms are hairy. Do the math. He should have gloves on that extend to his forearms.
You do not double dip drumstick legs if you're doing original recipe. you only double dip if you're doing crispy chicken. You are also loading the racks wrong
I would like to know what ingredients are contained in the water with which they dip the chicken to bring it to the flour or if it is plain water. Someone knows?
yeah what the fuck are they Australian? god damn their accents are so strong, to the point where they should have just picked different people for the video..
this is the kind of bosses we need at jobs .. they are reliable understanding passient calm and nice .... not like todays bosses they just fire you bc they want to and make it hard for you youth to live and work and sustain yourselfs and be independent ... fuckers always want us youth to be dependant of others the old people of today...
@@glo8273 that's just your impression. unhealthy or not depending on the level of the way we handle the food itself. even at home, if we are not wise to control the level of food hygiene, it remains the same. People always say fast food is unhealthy. if we consume food in excess of the daily calorie requirement it will invite to health problems. it all depends on how we control our daily diet.
Makes me feel hungry just watching it. Best advert for a trip to the restaurant or online order ever.. The KFC fries I have tried in S E UK are absolutely atrocious.. KFC admit making fries in the same batter as their popcorn chicken.. Well stop that now it is silly your fries are awful and put me off buying any KFC.. I am sure it will do now good to comment this but who on earth thought it was a good idea to fry two separate food items in the same batter..?
I was wearing high quality headphones with the volume fairly high. Firstly, there is an echo in this large, high ceilinged prep kitchen and the audio is poor quality. Along with their accents, it is impossible to understand what’s being said. No captions, therefore you can’t read what is being said. This is the main problem with this video. Secondly, if they are so concerned about germs and contamination, they should be wearing gloves that extend to their forearms as they submerged their hands and arms in the coating of flour to coat the chicken. Handwashing is very important, but wearing gloves ensure germ free hands. Intro is way too long and you can’t understand it anyway, so I had to fast forward to the point where the directions were in the video. They did not describe the marinade used or if there were any herbs or spices added to the flour. All in all I rate this video at 2 out of 10. I don’t recommend it.
@@diesturozhi1367 I used to work at KFC in Swift Current, Sk, Canada and we had huge heavy bags of flour we used and small pouches of kfc secret spice that we put in the flour....oh this brought back memories of the chicken although when we did in 1992, we used all the racks to put chicken (the breaded chicken) into the oil....we had about 5 cookers, and one cooker that was used for chicken wings.....but I loved breading the chicken....when I first started I remember having to do dishes after dishes and pots and pans and then worked in the evenings pt, and then graduated to a day cook where I opened the store...and worked till 6:30 pm....
Fresh Tracks surely the hot oil would kill any bad bacteria on the chicken - I don't see the point of them wearing gloves here, they also washed their hands at the beginning.
they did wash their hands.. just so you know the hand soap on restaurants are much more concentrated than household.. some restaurants even separate the handsoap from customers and employees. because the employee ones are waay better and litterally kills 99.9% of bacteria.. also plastic gloves tend to melt when near heat which is a toxic on you.. and also a latex gloves cannot be used too because some customers are allergic to latex
Fresh Tracks Gloves are AGAINST procedure. People are allergic to latex, and glove powder is carcinogenic. Any germs on the chicken will be gone after 185 degrees and 15 P.S.I For 15 minutes
I would like to know what ingredients are contained in the water with which they dip the chicken to bring it to the flour or if it is plain water. Someone knows?
Here is a haiku about chicken: Crispy Fried Chicken, Delicious Tasty Murder, We Love It So Much! Of course, it doesn’t have to be just KFC, it could also be Popeyes, Churches, or Bushes chicken.
He stated he used plain water in the 1st batch and a marinade in the 2nd. You have to marinade the chicken in the fridge for a few hours, not just dip it in for a second.
human in Earth hands have been washed, it’s about to be dropped into 185 degrees Celsius and under 15 P.S.I of pressure for 15 minutes... plus the salmonella already on raw chicken... I don’t think there will be any germs on it after cooking. Use some common sense
I work at KFC and this is contamination at it's best we wear gloves when dealing with raw Chicken and battering then remove gloves when dropping chicken no cross contamination
For once, young people in the working-class look like they take pride in their job. Labor in general is not for me. The food looks good, and for some reason, the tall one looks like Ronald McDonald without the clown paint.
I think they are marinated ( Brined ) immediately the chicken is slaughtered and cut into pieces. After, it's then frozen and ready for use any time.I suspect that the marination is done by the supplier since kfc chicken comes packed in boxes delivered by trucks to various outlets (franchises )
At the very end where he is making a KFC Chicken Sandwich he uses not one but TWO chicken fillets. Where I live they never make this sandwich with more than ONE fillet. I am being ROBBED.
"hot damn! I can't unnerstann a whole bunch of what them dang ol' boys be sayin"- yanks in this comment section who have eaten so many donuts their ear canals are blocked with fat
Great work fellas. Can you go to my local KFC and teach them how to wrap a burger? The burgers always end up half wrapped, upside down and deformed at the bottom of the bag.
I have a great ear and understand most accents. For me it was the echo in that huge room, hard ceramic floors and no acoustic ceiling tile to absorb ambient sound. I had on expensive headphones on, cranked up high and could not understand what was said.
