Robin knows that having sister wives means having Christine raise her kids like she helped raise the other kids … when Christine bailed, (she knew what was coming )because if Robin couldn’t use her she would have to get someone else ( nanny) .. Robin will be expected by Kody to have more children that she will raise alone because the others would be smart to get out , or carry that responsibility … and because Robin doesn’t want to share Kody. , she will have to take care of all those kids alone…what does the nanny do ? She’ll have to pick up the slack …

The reason why the hard hitting questions were never asked it because narcissistic people are extremely defensive. They are very devious, even if you want to ask them they are SO defensive and manipulative that they alway steer the conversation away from the truth. Robyn is really good at this whenever the conversation gets to close to where she doesn’t want it to go she will say in a very commanding voice, “just stop.” She will directly confront the questioner with a direct confrontational voice, “the pink elephant in the room”. Or “just stop”. These conversational tactics are conversation maneuvers to stop the conversation from going to where she does not want it to go. She also uses that damsel in distress fake crying to shut down all conversation. That is why she is always Kody’s favorite because she knows how to steer every situation where she is seen is the best light possible and also knows how to steer it to put her sister wives in the worst light possible. She is very controlling. She is most certainly to blame, more then Kody Hindi. She pulls his strings.

But what you are completely forgetting is that basically Christine was Robyn before Robin came into the mix Christine was the stay at home mom who yes did look after the house and kids but she never worked throughout her whole marriage with Cody she only started working when her kids were more or less grown other than truly. Then she started working for those MLM‘s companies and that was out of necessity because she needed health insurance for Isabel. So basically Janelle to an extent maybe Mary and the show paid for Christine‘s life to.

Christine stayed in the "family home" and raised ALL 12 children ie; Meri had Mariah, Janelle had 6 by then, and Christine had 5 was pregnant w/Truely at the time of the wedding of Kody and Robin! Christine kept house, did all of the laundry and all of the cooking for 4 adults and 11 children!! I don't know about you, but I would call that a JOB!! And raising children is far harder than any job the other wives worked and if done well, takes more smarts than any outside job. And he always treated her poorly. Even when the show first started, but I also think that was because he figured he could get away with it be cause Christine comes from a long line of polygamists. Her mother was born into polygamy and she was also, it’s all she ever know. Meri also came from a polygamist family, which is why she hung around so long after Kody started treating her like garbage. I would bet the only thing Robyn knows about polygamy, she learned from the show Big Love. Her mother wasn’t in a polygamist marriage, she was a mistress. Her father wasn’t a polygamist, he was a cheater. She built this fantasy around her childhood based on fiction.

I think the move to Flagstaff was worse because first and foremost,yes,they uprooted the kids but in the long run they got beautiful homes and were able to live in a way that allowed the kids to have space but still have time with their siblings but having their own space. The move to Flagstaff was straight up just a benefit for Robyn and Kody. Kody wanted to move to the country and Robyn's son,Dayton,got into college in Flagstaff and the rumors are he didn't even make it one semster before dropping out! I think that's why Christine suggested leaving! They moved to Flagstaff because Dayton got into college there and when he dropped out ther was no reason to stay! Christine's children are in Utah,her family is in Utah and she wanted to go because why stay? This is why,to an extent,I feel bad for Robyn's kids. They have no idea how to be self-reliant, Robyn has convinced them that their siblings,and the other moms,hate her ,them and Kody. It may depend on the state. But my husbands ex tried to pull the " my boyfriend wants to adopt your kid" bs. He was told by a lawyer that as an unmarried couple she would have to give up her parental rights as well for him to adopt her. The only way she could keep her parental rights was for them to be legally married.

From the way it's been described they did that to put the kids on Kody's medical insurance. Kody didn't have insurance to help pay for the surgery Maddie needed when her appendix burst,he didn't need insurance when Truely went into renal failure or for when Ysabel needed surgery.

That isn’t entirely true. For Kody to adopt, even with bio dad’s consent he had to be a stepparent. Or at least that is the way have to do it in Arkansas and most other state. I don’t know about Nevada but that is a universal legal principle. Now if Robin was deceased Kody could have adopted with dad’s consent. However, if no adoption then a will wouldn’t do it unless bio dad proven to be unfit and his rights terminated. The lawyer said that yes the only way to do it in Nevada was the way they did it.

But after they got married and kody adopted the kids, they could have divorced and he could have remarried Mary.

Her first husband didn’t just willingly sign them over either. Because Robyn was marrying Cody she and the children would have to be “sealed to Cody”. The show made this guy out to be a real jerk for being so willing to sign his children over when in reality he probably had religious leaders whispering in his ear.

I felt bad for Paydeon. He was made out to be a bully as a kid but look at what he went through. He was acting out and it appears Kody didn't even notice. He was visibly devastated when they told them they were moving to Las Vegas. Then he watches his dad give all of his attention and affection to his non-biological children. I believe Paydeon ended up picking on Robyn's kids because he couldn't lash out his dad for not giving him the same attention, love and affection his step siblings got.

And of course, Kody never comforted her, reassured her, or just offered a listening ear, but rather he blamed her for the feelings she had and resented her for it. And he ultimately punished her by withholding quality time together and affection. She really had no one to lean on during that time. Polygamist women aren’t allowed to have those feelings, they’re supposed to suppress them and ignore them, and never dare say how they’re feeling out loud. Kody could just gallivant around, excited to get Robyn in bed once they got “married”. It’s really quite disgusting. 🤢 Very sad.

Right, it is a violation of their agreement that the whole family agree to another wife, and keeping Janelle and Christine out of the loop set the family up for a lot of resentment. Kody was off courting and honeymooning while Christine was pregnant. Christine was really upset that Kody took a long honeymoon while Christine had her 6th child. Really disrespectful. No wonder Janelle and Christine resent Robyn. Kody is not listed on the birth certificate for any of Christine (and probably Janelle)'s children -- meaning those children have no right to any benefits through Kody or to inheritance. Meanwhile, Robyn's children by Kody and by her first husband get all of those benefits from Kody. Janelle and Christine's children didn't even get health insurance from Kody. Christine had to do a go fund me to pay for Ysabel's back surgery, but Robyn's children get health insurance. And Kody and Robyn wonder why the other women resent Robyn, poor scapegoat Robyn. It went totally against what they TAUGHT made their family successful. My husband has absolute disgust toward Kody, not because of his multiple wives, but because of his ego. Kody has no conscience. I literally went back and watched all the episodes and I totally see Christine being left out of a lot of the program. She did feel very unloved and she voiced her opinion many many times from the very beginning. If her husband, Kodi, would literally just not speak of truth but put that truth into action he may have been a better person in life. But Cody said one thing and literally did another. And what's extremely frustrating is that in the end the kids her scarred for life. Mariah was going to live her faith. I can see where that all changed because of her father. One day her face just changed because she watched the actions of her father and probably said I never want to live that kind of life and be felt like I was only second best. I blame Kodi for a lot of downfall in these relationships that he called marriages. There was one episode where Kodi went back to his hometown and visited with his high school friends. I remember one of those friends saying if anybody can pull this off it would be him. He has always been a showboat. He always had to be the center of attention. And what better way to get it. So to me that tells me that Kodi is very insecure within himself that he actually had to surround himself with four women so they would fight over him and he would feel like the center of attention. Shame on him for destroying these people's lives and the lives of his children forever will be changed because of his insecurity, selfishness, his inability to deal with confidence in himself, and using God as a prop to get what he want. Literally I wish the best for Christine, Janelle, I do have a hard time wishing the best for Merri because she brought the problem in the very beginning too. But I wish no ill feelings on her at all. And as for Kodi, he'll just have to answer to God on judgment day. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God but, when you come into that relationship accepting Jesus as your lord and savior you are to change your ways and live according to the instructions of the Holy Spirit. Just for him to end up dropping out from my understanding. Total manipulators both of them.

Robin has her beat by 100,000 fold. She knew what kind of marriage to get into because it was, "God's will", that she be in this polygamist lifestyle with her other sister wives and Kodi. Seriously she is so much more scarier than Amber Heard will ever be. And in some respects, maybe she has a lot of serial killers beat because she has literally killed all those other marriages.

Not only is AH a lot worse in that her lies have resulted in criminal & civil charges in 3 countries, but the financial implications of her deceptions have gone into the 100's of millions of dollars. Also AH's actions almost got her 2 dogs euthanized by an order of the Australian court. AH is globally known for her sociopathic & malignant narcissistic evil deeds. Robyn isn't even known by many in the USA let alone the world, has benefited herself financially MAYBE to a million dollars, & as far as I know, since she's been with the Brown's, hasn't had involvement of the police or any criminal charges that we know of. If it wasn't Robyn it would have been someone else. Kody never properly dated the 3 wives, they all married a stranger, it was doomed to fail one way or the other. In all fairness I believe she has a special needs teenager? Or adult child? She was a manipulative little devil I remember in the first season when she said she was going to make her husband feel like they're newlyweds everyday. Watching some of the film clips on here you could definitely see the love between them. The she gave him all that attention with hugs touching kissing and everything else. The only two people that can't see this is Robyn and Kody. Man the way they were looking into each other's eyes. But of course you're going to be more affectionate like that in the beginning he was with the other wives for close to 20 years already. And now we know he quit having sex with the other three I'm wondering how much of that had to do with Robin also or if it was just menopause and he get he could not get them pregnant anymore. He said he's sick of polygamy but I don't think he wanted any of his wives to leave because of his place in heaven. But what many of us want is for Cody to bring in a much younger woman than Robin and let her have to go through what she put the other women through.
