Have never listened to Linda Thompson speaking about Elvis before. She comes across quite a nice person and very natural (nothing false) about her. At least thats the feeling l get.

Linda was the one that had the most in common!Being southern they did understand each other! Know Billy Jo Smith loved her!Like Elvis they were just down home people❤❤❤❤

Linda is one of the most beautiful precious souls to have ever entered Elvis's life and I am so happy they met. She is such a respectful lady of his memory and always speaks with such love about him, there is some contrast to how Priscilla talks of Elvis and while I believe Priscilla and Elvis were very much in love she has not always spoken respectfully of him. Great upload thanks.

What a lovely recounting of their meeting. I read Linda's book as soon as it was available and it's by far one of the best "Elvis stories" ever written. In contrast to some of the others, it's one of the most respectful stories told about part of his life.

@@ElvisNewsExaminer no they were not separated for 6 mos, as Linda saus, but might as well been . Mrriagewas in trouble for some time, & Prisc was seeing Mike S early as Dec 70, after Elvis started touring, Sept70, plus had his Vegas show. She officially left early 72, & El. & Linda met shortly after. and divorce was final Oct. 73..

Pricilla is terrible where Elvis is concerned!! She has done what she has for money!! It’s nice to hear the ones that truly loved him and speak of him with respect.

i htink he should have never married ,but i htink elvis thought it was what he had to do ,a family thing but in the era he was growing up ,staying single seem to be what men wanted to do ,hence people living together more without marriage

Niech te jego kobiety, dadzą,a już spokój Elvisowi, teraz mogą mówić co sobie wymysla i chcą, wszyscy chcieli mu pomoc, ale Elvis nie pozwalał, głupia gadka, nieraz tracił przytomność że zmęczenia, z przepracowania, mogli wykorzystać te sytuację, wszyscy razem zmusili by Parkera do położenia Elvisa do s,pitala, ale potrzebne były każdemu pieniadze, wyobrażam sobie co wszyscy wymyślają i wygadują na temat Elvisa, mają swoje pięć minut, parcie na szklo zostało jednak wszystkim!!!!

In case u don't know th story, Prisc moved to Graclnd, 62,@age 18, El. was 28,.. He was in his prime, 34, in Comeback Special 68. Aloha Hawaii, Jan 73, was still looking good, then started downhill.. wasn't Linda fault th drug abuse escalated,.. was th Col. P.. overbooked concerts, & w/ aid from DrNick, kept El. drugged up, to get on stage Linda saved his life many times from OD Ing. She put up w/ his cheating, & stuck by his side, became more of a nursemaid then girlf. El was already seeing Ginger, when still with Linda.. Linda would never went to sleep, till knew El was safely asleep,.. or wasmonitored by one of staff,MM .,

@@juliehodge2831 Maybe Elvis was a pretty consistent person. That's better than being flaky. I believe he was always the same person like him or not. He has millions of adoring fans all around the world for a reason. He was a good man. We all have flaws, but judge not lest ye be judged. I believe Elvis's intentions were good, though he didn't get credit for the good he did. He didn't get gratitude enough either.
