You need to build Stanley a home where he is 100% SAFE!!!! No toddlers, no vending machines, no ANYTHING to kill him, so he can live his dream life in a hotdog MANSION.

a pro tip is to have one toddler potty trained while all the other toddlers watch them being trained. They gain the skills like that too, but it takes a little bit longer

Fun fact: The definition of insanity is repeating the same task over and over again expecting something different. Simmers are a prime example of this when they are tasked to raise more than two toddlers.

I'm terrified of how glitchy the infants are going to be lol, I just keep thinking the glitching laundry that falls out of sims' hands when they walk downstairs...

When I do the 100 baby challenge, I always have a spellcaster matriarch. The ability to instantly repair, clean, bathe, and spawn food is INCREDIBLY helpful. Also: I know it's probably bad to say this, but I never bathe the toddlers unless I have extra free time... Nothing bad happens to them, after all, except being stinky!

Toddlers stress me tf out, so much. I always want to have sims with a big family but the toddler stage almost kills me every time 😂 Also, I agree. The adults sims constantly putting the toddlers down when you command them to pick them up to do something, so annoying lol

I once had a couple in my sims world, they had a single girl. I wanted her to have a sibling she would be best friends with, so I made the parents wohoo while she was still a baby. They turned out to be all boy triplets and a few days after the birth the mom died of hunger lmao-

Now that they have a highschool pack they should make a daycare pack. Where you can send your toddler to that isn't a rabbit hole, run your own in home... kinda like sims3 haha 😄

When I have multiple toddlers in my game I like to follow the advice I hear irl moms of twins/multiples say. Which is, “Try to keep them on the same schedule because if you don’t then you’ll NEVER get a break.” Obviously it doesn’t always happen that way but it works for me lots of the time 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

A tip I learned recently, if you have them "watch" another toddler on the potty chair they will learn potty skills too. Also you can have your adult Sim start them on the potty chair, cancel them teaching it, move to another toddler and the fist one will keep going, they just don't learn it as fast. This makes having a bunch of toddlers who all need to go at the same time so much easier to manage.

The main issue I've found with a lot of toddlers and only one adult sim is that you'll want your sim to be helping one toddler but like 5 others are trying to get his attention and the adult sim wont do jack while they're doing that edit: also if you have a toddler ask an adult sim to do smth multiple times the adult sim will just keep putting them down

For future challenges, Practise Singing is my fave for getting fun up! You don’t need anything to do and its fairly effective - even more if you they like singing.

One trait I find great for the adult is dance machine. They have the option to "disco nap" which is just a nap but almost completely fills their sleep. As long as you keep music on somewhere for the sim to dance to occasionally its great

Eliza Pancakes is playing the seven toddler challenge all on her lonesome. She had literally six toddlers in her household already, and then Bob mysteriously died. Now that she's got room in the household, I only assume she's making a seventh. (I have long lifespan on, and had shut off aging completely for a while. In Eliza's defense, when she had the toddlers, she probably didn't now they'd be stuck at that age for a decade.)

I had a family with 8 todlers but there was 2 adults. It was easy, but then teens it felt like there was so much to do.

I love the get to work refrigerated display case, you can put the food in there and toddlers can serve themselves!

They should add the interaction for parent sims to carry toddlers to bed if they fall asleep 🥹

I almost always send my adult sims to clubs or things when not working, in order to not have to take care of the toddlers. I'd be a terrible parent lol.

I did that challenge a couple times now and what I would do with the bath and potty needs of the toddlers was I would have all the toddlers sleep and I would take care of my main adult sim. Then I would look at the toddlers needs and see which was the worst, then I would wake the toddler in the worst condition up and care for their needs then have them sleep again so they wouldn't be annoying lol. Then I would do that until my main adult sim was going to pass out. I'd then have the adult sleep and all the toddlers build skills. The only problems I had during that challenge were the sims being really slow at tasks and the cooking lmao

expansion pack / game pack idea: run ur own daycare! it would be so fun with the newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids!

I think the reason Stanley wasn't giving them a bath was because the toddler was asking him for a bath and you were also asking Stanley to do the same so it cancelled it out on both ends..I could be wrong though!

I can handle the toddler stage more than the baby stage in this game and I think the infant stage could improve things significantly because you'll be able to do more things with them but in updating that, you have to think they'll update toddlers somehow, whether it be a new skill or something. You did a great job. Snap is so cute.

After the baby update, active high school, toddlers in general I WILL NEVER HAVE MORE THAN ONE KID 😂

The 7 Toddler Challenge is my favorite challenge. I’ve played it through a few times. I usually name them all TV or movie characters and give them complementary characteristics and it’s usually hilarious watching how the toddlers interact with each other with that perspective. For example, I did Community with the Dean as the Caregiver and Jeff (Independent), Annie (Inquisitive), Troy (Charmer), Abed (Silly), Shirley (Angelic), Britta (Wild), and Chang (Fussy). I didn’t use to think the traits did much, but “Annie,” who had the inquisitive trait, finished to level 5 in all 5 skills first. Chang consistently was demanding attention. Abed and Troy did spend most of their time together playing with the doll house, basically recreating the Dreamatoriam from the TV show. And Britta ruined everything by breaking the dollhouse… so many times. It was so entertaining! 😂

this reminds me of when i used to work at a daycare with around 13 toddlers under my supervision, gotta admit the experience in the sims is pretty accurate to real life 😭

I have a theory!! I think that the reason for the sims sing routing bug (where they travel halfway across the house to use a random sing instead of the closest one) is because they could be putting in a new 'bathe baby in sink' interaction! I know you can kind of already do it with toddlers but it's not really an interaction, they just spin in the air and then they're clean) but maybe in the new one there is an animation for the baby in the sink and that's whats caused the routing issue we're having at the minute? That would be such an awesome interaction to have with the new infants!

For the fun need, the get famous stereo is OP because they can listen in the background to most tasks and it's fun level 9 so fills the need faster than almost everything in the game. I put this in my houses (especially for challenges) before even a computer.

I’m so glad this video was made because I was thinking it was something wrong with just my game with the toddler glitches. My sim had twins and now that they’re toddlers, it’s impossible to feed them with the high chair and bathe them. Like my sim just keeps lifting them up and putting them down, or else the interaction cancels out completely. I can’t even play normally without having the threat of the toddlers being taken away. I’m also playing with two parent sims, so you think it would be easy 🙃

Question for all simmers: would you prefer choosing the wood tone of any wooden item or choosing what coulor the fabric or sofa ect. Personally I would like choosing wood tones!

My sims had twins, then they had quadruplets by accident, then they had another set of twins by accident. It was absolutely TERRIFYING. And this, kids, is how I uninstalled risky woohoo!

The best part about this whole video is it simsie didn't call the toddlers by their names one single time 🤣🤣🤣

This is why all of my parent sims who have multiple children end up spellcasters, it's too time consuming to clean up and repair things with like a million kids lol

A great thing to use with toddlers is the like refrigerated food display from Get to Work. It keeps the food from spoiling and toddlers can grab the serving for themselves instead of having to tell them to eat. Life saver while playing! And if all the adult/teen sims leave the house and you send the toddlers to daycare, their needs get taken care of for you!

Too real as I sit here after finally getting my toddler and infant to bed. 😂

7:50 the easiest method I’ve learned is using one of the bath/shower combo items. It glitches less than regular bath. That may just be my game though

lol I still can't wait though for infants. My daughter is actually trying this challenge herself. I think once their potty gets up to 2 for those that aren't independent it gets much easier. I may go back to the toddler scenario for practice before attempting this challenge.

the digitalistic sketchpad is so much better for rags-to-riches because you can queue up several paintings and they get done super fast!

Does the child's play trait work for toddlers too? I was under the impression it was children only but if it works for toddlers as well that would be so amazing-

Really need to use the refrigerator case from Get Together. Toddlers can grab food right from there, no need to put things out, thing's don't spoil, etc.

hi kayla!! i love your videos!! just a tip, when youre making videos like this(poor stanley) you should buy earbuds and let the music running troughout the day, that really helps increasing the fun need!!

Once a toddler is sat on the potty, you can cancel the potty train action in the adult's queue to free them up to do something else whilst the toddler continues to potty. The toddler will build the potty skill more slowly once the adult stops training them, but it does make it possible to stop the toddlers from using their diapers instead of the potty. If they don't use the diaper they don't usually need a bath until the 3rd or 4th day, by which time most of the toddlers should be able to go to the potty by themselves (assuming your adult sim has focused on potty training whenever possible). Once the baths are done, resume potty training when possible to speed up the skill gain, as that's definitely the most time-consuming skill in a challenge like this because all the other skills can be built pretty quickly without an adult. If you're having trouble with toddlers being defiant and refusing to be potty trained or bathed, clear the adult's queue and have the toddler ask for the potty/bath. Some even get a happy moodlet from getting their own way, and they build the communication skill when they make the request. Quick ways to level other skills in the base game (for those that don't already know): Communication: Babble, hug and talk to blarffy (or other sims). Repeatedly hugging blarffy once you hit communication 2 is the quickest way, since the animation is short. Imagination: Get another sim to play an instrument and have the toddler listen to them (the interaction might be called something else, but it has the icon for the imagination skill). I haven't tested this on piano or pipe organ, but it definitely works for guitar, violin and child's violin. Like when adults read toddler books, you can have as many toddlers listening as you like. Movement: Have the toddler sim 'play' with an adult sim (not available for pregnant sims). For a 7-toddler challenge the adult will probably be busy with potty training, but you'll have plenty of time to level movement via less efficient methods. Thinking: Queue up the 'watch' interaction on another sim (will slowly build potty skill if watching another toddler on the potty, otherwise quckily levels thinking skill, particularly when multiple interactions are stacked and the run time starts to overlap).

You need an energy 10 bed. Energy 8 is just not enough. Then, you need to be handiness 9 to apply the two upgrades to the bed. Don't add a door to the bathroom. JUST remove two chunks of wall.

Toddlers gain the movement skill really fast when they take off their clothes and just run around in the house without anything on. I had Twins recently (in game) and I was challenging myself to get all of their skills maxed and until then they had to stay toddlers and I wouldn’t age them up to kids. It was fun and stuff but only because they were only two of them and I had two adults to take care of them. I don’t think I would have survived 7 Toddlers at the same time tho 😂

Tip: get a coffee maker, it reduces the amount of times Stanley will need to sleep,he will have to go to the bathroom more but I personally would prefer that over waiting awhile for them to sleep

Tips: bikes are supreme for fun. Get the adult to ask the toddler if they want a bath, that way doesn’t glitch.

LilSimsie, you can X out of "wait for toddler" when they're using the potty! Once the toddler is on the potty, X out Stanley's interaction - Stanley can do other things, and the toddler will finish on the potty alone, even if it's their first time using a potty. When I do this challenge, I have a line of seven potties (typically in the living room), and I've been able to get six of the seven toddlers at level 2 potty before the adult sleeps for the first time. (Admittedly, the adult's energy was very low, but he never passed out.)

you could give him a better bed so he doesn't need to spend as much time sleeping, that has helped a lot in my sims game with my single mum who works fulltime in the business career and doesn't want to hire a nanny.

If you have a pond in the yard the toddlers will play in it for hygiene and imagination, have incense burning to reduce the parents stress. Use lot traits quiet, child play and gnomes for less tense, faster skills, auto free repairs

I use a Butler (VG) and the self-serve eat in bakery display fridge (GTW).

I have helped out at or provided speech services in home daycares before...this is pretty accurate. Chaos. And bodily fluids. And lots of songs from caregivers at their wits end lol.

If you play a challenge where you can control more than one sim, it is way easier to get the toddler to ask the parent for a bath than vica versa. The simulation just tuns smoother that way. Same with giving food or using the high chair, get the toddler to ask not the parent to do it. Also, your toddler won't get taken away for being dirty so I never bathe them in 100 babies.

Did you know that a toddler can learn pottytraining just by looking another toddler being trained? I love this kind of mini-challenges.

Just a helpful idea but if u potty train a toddler as soon as they sit down click to cancel the animation for Stanley so they can do it on they own and u can continue to do what u need
