You can hit AR241 in like a single afternoon, but it requires other people to boost you. Basically you just do 1 faint Diablos>Seething>Risen Chammy as soon as you can with 2 AR300 DBs players that have good builds. If you get an elem hunting horn player that uses element attack up it's even better. But with just 2 DBs It's always sub 5 minutes, and Risen Chammy starting at AR100 gives 7 levels a hunt. That's the earliest you can do this Risen Chammy, but that's why you do Diablos>Seething first. You won't get 7 levels a hunt all the way to AR221, but you will get 4 to 6 the vast majority of the way. At AR221 you can accept any quest including AR300s and Specials so your friends can post the quests at a high enough AR for you to get the the mats to finish all your builds. AR221 is also when you stop getting catchup exp. It's like Capcom designed the game for this. Personally just joining on random to AR3000, and had fun as the TU came out. It took forever, but I was a blast the whole time. However it's probably good to know that it is possible for people trying to catchup to their AR300 friends, and that those AR300 friends can get them into high AR very quickly to start making endgame build if they do the right hunts. This might not be appealing to a lot of people so I totally get not wanting to do this. I mean I didn't, but you know maybe someone will find this helpful!
Thanks for sharing this. It is certainly a much faster method of getting higher AR than just spamming/joining random AR hunts, but It will certainly more difficult to set up and a more tedious method. Though I do know some people that would vie for this option since they are completionists and like to do things the most efficient, and fastest, way.
@@BakeNation_MH Mostly I just do this to get people to AR181+. Normally players around AR60-120ish. I just have lots of arena quest that are fun, and not very many non-arenas so I just boost people to AR181+ to be able to post fun quests. 100% someone on discord showed me how to do this, and I got the 1 faint chammy quest from them. I found a 2 faint seething myself. I still don't have a low faint Diablos non-arena. You are absolutely right this is hard to setup. Hot damn this editing is great. I'm taking notes! The anomaly grind is no joke I just recently hit 300 myself using mostly randoms, but my failure rate was much higher because well sometimes with randoms it be like that.
Answer: 200hrs at my pace. I haven't farmed anomalies a single moment. I'm AR160, I just hunt whatever the reception wants me to kill and I mostly play solo. Had fun the whole time.
I just now got recommended this video and the energy and quality of editing is something I wish was more common. Speaking from personal experience, I more or less soloed my way to 300 because I had zero faith in randos in Rise and my friends either dropped the game or played on a different platform and I wish I considered looking for ways to spice up the leveling grind like how you two did with the wagers set.
That’s actually really interesting that 241 to 300 took so much longer than getting to 241 in the first place. I guess the exp scaling really kicks off.

I got a pretty high level Pyra Rakna Kadaki which helped a lot, and it got me almost all the apex monsters unlocked as well, and i was surprised how fun Rajang/ Furious Rajang were in Rise, compared to their tempered versions in world.
I think that's because in mhr you can quickly get back up after being knocked down using wirebugs. In mhw it's a very slow fight and you lose at least 10s every time you are knocked down.
damn ur channel is so underrated thats amazing work and editing btw i think it would reach 100h+ if it was a average player experience because they will play usually the easiest quests to get materials to augment also a question did you augment 1 set or 5 sets? (for each elem) i think rn i have around 80 hours to 120 hours of ingame AR grinding and im AR 220ish or 230ish bc im grinding for a ton of weapons solo (i still think its a bit too much that it would take 67h while going for the best quests just to reach AR 300 imo 30h would be better and let the grind focus on other things instead of level raising bc imo it gets dull at least if ur playing solo) really thanks for the video the data was really helpful because i was curious how much time it would take if i tried to do the better quests
We only augmented one set because at that point we had the Chameleos and Velkhana quest, and since both monsters' are weak to fire, we only needed the one element. Also, I definitely think the grind takes a little too long. It is a pretty large investment, and depending on how you approach it can really alter how well the experience is going to go.
Something I didn't realize when I first started doing the anomaly quests is that for every material depending on how late into your anomaly research you are has between two to four monsters that drop that part, so while it may seem spoilery I would recommend taking and charting a course finding the easiest monsters for you to hunt for each piece so you can still get your anomaly investigation level up but then still have easier hunts and still be able to get every material you need the easiest
I really enjoyed it. I had a great time doing the same quests a bunch like you. And reaching 300 felt glorious. And then special investigations are such a cool ending
Endgame Anomaly Quest in a nutshell: Melee weapons: be carefull Monsters hit like a Truck on steriods. Ranged weapons: don't even think about tanking a single attack.

The grind from ar241 to 300 could actually have been sped up by a significant amount of you switch to a arena quest with risen valstrax with a 25 minute 1 faint hunt depending on your skill level if your solo grinding. From ar 1 to about 60 to 80 woggi is best for sure but after that point if ya can get a gold rathian a with a 25 minute 1 faint limit until ar 181 were you can get quests in an arena at which point fighting the highest star ar monster through investigations with a 25 minute 1 faint requirement you have access to. Granted this is only optional if you have confidence in the target in the arena you fight it in to beat it consistantly.
something else to note technically the AR grind can also be even faster due to the cap at which you can join being pretty lenient and at 221 or higher you can join up to 300 allowing you to make the longest stretch of the anomaly grind that much faster this all depends on if you can find someone with AR 300 however
5:00, I did the same, but now that I grinded my AR up, all the monster quests I get are the same (they're all wings and horn related, no shards and hide) and if I wanna farm shards/ scales or hides /thickhides, or even bones! Then I have to go back to a quest, do that quest, and the investigation spawns at fucking 21, then I have to do that same quest 10 times (21-then it respawns at 41 - then at 61- 81- 101.. you get the picture) ..... Is there a better way to 'get higher level monsters without having to grind them up' ? My experience with it: I grinded EXP up, sure, but EVERY material ahs to be also leveled? or am I missing something, I dont randomly get a (lets say) Izuchi lvl 240 now, whenever I need one, I need to get the Quest -> it spawns at 21- > grind it up -> die inside.... why?? Please tell me there's another way, and I actually am missing something BIG, and I dont have to grind up every monster to spawn their investigation quests at lvl 181+
I think that's probably the pace for an average player. Pretty similar for me... think a bit more, but I haven't fully focused on leveling AR. Also spent a few hours trying to figure out how to get low-tier monsters up till level 100+ for upgrading materials and then actually executing it and did a few other things in-between like fiddling with visual mods and whatnot. Honestly surprises me just how few there are. Funny one to try out is to play with Yomogi. Chichae works too, but Yomogi looks much better in actual gameplay since there's no skirt clipping through everything. Such a shame there's no proper loli mods, looks so funny to play with Yomogi. Also for some reason it seems to shrink the supporters as well when they go along with you on a mission, but it does mess up some of the body proportions a bit so they look kinda chubby. And it also surprises me just how few skin/outfit swaps there are actually available for the NPC's. For the twins you can basically only put them in bathing suits, make their face potato or full potato or have them in various states of undress with various bust sizes. Of course if you play online it might not be a good idea to play with mods. I also turned on a mod for more feminine animations, which basically takes over the animations from Fiorayne, but her normal running startup seems to be a little bit faster and more fluent, so technically it would give you a very minor gameplay advantage. Still, it looks so much better than the standard animations I wouldn't want to play solo without some of them.
Seems like too much. Not even sure if I'll go all the way to 240. I think I'd be fine with lvl 8 slots and full attack boost, both of which I can get relatively soon. After that I'd need to grind mindlessly to 200 for the next slots upgrade and then 240 for the 10th upgrade. I guess 10 extra sharpness and 10 extra attack is nice, but that's one hell of a long grind to get there and it's not like you'd need it outside of maxing for the endgame content. And heck I can't even fill those remaining 2 slots since you can only pick 1 upgrade of each type and not just stack attack. With 8 slots reserved for the attack upgrade I can't even slot in anything else since it requires 3 slots each. Could be doable with a buddy or through boosting, but I mainly play solo and it has already taken me well over 20 hours to get to the AR I'm at right now (granted I wasn't mainly focused on leveling asap, I do still gain like 2-3 AR levels for doing A8 and A7 investigations).
It is definitely a system there to help pad playtime. The only real reason to grind it is if you are intent on creating the best weapons/armors possible, and wanting to experience everything the game has to offer
@@BakeNation_MH Oh yes, it's there to pad playtime like all of the anomaly stuff. Primordial Malzeno can be done without any of the extra stuff and he's pretty much the postgame final boss of the DLC. The anomaly stuff is just extra on top of that. None of the Risen Elder Dragon's are anywhere close to as hard as that one until you reach the end of the endgame (I only read that those EX versions of the Risen Elder Dragons are harder, I don't know if it's actually the case). Not like Iceborne had much of a postgame after Fatalis and I much prefer anomalies to the grinding lands.
Is it just me or are Anomaly Quest basically a Quest Rank and not just powered up monsters like hypers or tempereds. I mean Monsters not just get stronger attacks but also more HP, and they get faster, you need there materials to upgrade youe weapons armor even more and most importantly it has its quests seperated as A1⭐️, A2⭐️, A3⭐️, etc like LR, HR and MR have it. Its liturally just a new Quest Rank!
Yeah, it is a new quest rank. The handling around it is a bit sloppy though. Doing the regular anomaly quests will have you fight a low level monster of that rank and I'm not sure if you even get any AR points for it. You don't even get qurious crafting until you do an actual anomaly investigation. Basically I did all 1 star AR quests, but find that I have practically 0 reason to ever do the set quests for it. And it'll probably stay that way until I'm satisfied upgrading my weapons/gear and am going to do them just to complete them and am significantly more powerful (since they'll go faster).
First off, congratulations, that is our ultimate end goal in every MH game we play. Secondly, the 8-star elders should start being hazard risen at AR251+ while the 9-star elders should appear at AR 271+
Totally. I finally started using Qurio crafting and optimal skills, like hellfire cloak and blood awakening (I was like MR180 at this point), and my AR150 hunt times went down by 35%. It won't be as impactful if you're playing multiplayer, but still very worth it.
@@KnightCrown Some of it was through a paid subscription to Envato Elements where I added my own footage into some video templates. Some other sections were me spending a lot of time trying to learn new editing techniques in Adobe After Effects.
I feel like that's definitely a good way to do it. The grind can feel somewhat monotonous at times, so having something in the background can definitely make the process more enjoyable.
@@BakeNation_MH they are very high quality, and some Zeniths are even easier than their original selfs. They got rid of Rukodiora's annoying floating rocks, Harudomerugu's guaranteed stun moves, and etc. Just make sure to have your elemental resistances at 55 or higher, to negate Zenith Blights. Use the SR skill for elemental resistances and set the decos from Cattleya's recommendation event (in case you don't know what i'm talking about, it's a Silver Rathalos quest that gives you strong G elemental resistance decos).
